The contrast between the female vocals and the raw rap sections reflects exactly what I felt during the writing process: softness and pain clashing with anger and clarity.

Musically, it’s rooted in RnB – emotional, direct, vulnerable – but carried by the steady pulse of deep house, like a heartbeat that refuses to stop.

A deep and cinematic journey that drifts from intimate ambient space into raw, driving techno. “Floating Without You” blends whispered female and soft male vocals in a duet of emotional distance and transformation. The track begins with haunting pads and minimal textures, slowly evolving into a deep house groove. At its breaking point, the beat drops away—silence—and returns as a sharp, pulsing techno rhythm with chopped vocals and rolling bass. It’s a story of letting go, of dancing through the void, and of becoming free through movement.

I don’t write songs in the traditional sense. I prioritize sound and theme over grammar or logical narrative. I often look between the moments we usually skip — the pauses, the loops, the unfinished thoughts.

Some words about my Person - I will become 70 Years old this Year and live in cologne. I started with making Music End of the 70th with the best Time on IBIZA. Since that Time, I worked as DJ in different Discothecs & Clubs all over Germany - beginning of the 90th I met Spoon & Westbam by starting with the famous "Techno & Tekkno" time - my Job as DJ has been always next to my real Business - so mostly at the weekends! Now I do some Partys with surely very different Genres - from the 80th to House & Electro - also Bavarian "Wies'n Partys or Cologne Carneval-Partys. Everytime I work as DJ, I do Live-Recording and safe my Mixes - I'm hungry of doing this .-)  My longest Mix is a 16hours Mix - done on my Birthday - 7 Years ago.

Up to now (12/2022), I start with my last 1,5 Years of beeing DJ - than I'm 70 and relax by listen to & through all my past recording. My last Dream = On my Birthday in July 2024 beeing Part of a big Party - somewhere - also as DJ for my last Time. We'll see!

Tom Lysar creates electronic music with an emotional core — shaped by atmosphere, structure, and instinct. His compositions don’t follow fixed genres but emerge from moments, moods, and inner imagery.

Much of his music is rooted in an extensive archive: early studio sessions, unfinished sketches, and custom loops originally crafted for sample packs, background cues, and small creative projects such as indie games and online content. In 2025 he began reshaping this material, refining old fragments into finished works and aligning them with his present sound. The result is a continuous flow of releases that feel both timeless and immediate — carrying the depth of past explorations into the present.

In his work, sound, memory, and motion merge into a fluid musical expression. Each track becomes an invitation: to drift, to remember, or simply to feel.

This is music that doesn’t confine — it opens space. Between light and shadow, closeness and distance.
