After «Star Dawn» (2013) and «Last Anthem»  (2014), Velvet Stairs comes back with « Regency »
A 5 tracks EP opening with the self titled single. A track with a heady distorted guitar gimmick that sounds like Daft Punk lost in the Middle of a Miami Vice episode.
The sound of this album makes us thinking about 80’s movies & series where vintage sounds meet loud & modern rhytmics.
In its efforts to ensure global coherence  for the project, J.C. Villain (Graphic Designer & Director) did himself artistic direction of the video and the album’s artwork.

Recorded in his Home-Studio between 2014 & 2015, « Regency » has been mixed by Ivan Herceg (Lilly Wood and the Pricks…) and mastered by JP Chalbos (Kavinsky, The Shoes…).

The "I Rise" (Tracy Young Pride Intro Radio Remix) for Madonna won at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, in the “Best Remixed Recording” category. This marks the first time a female Producer / Remixer has ever been nominated in this category.
