With releases by artists like Martyn Hare, Forest People, and Kaylah, among others, the Netherlands-based label Krachtvoer has its sights set on the underworld of techno. Their most recent offering, Athena is welcomes Italy's Code 701, who has released on Alex Dolby's Affekt, Vegim's TMM, Subsist, and Diffuse Reality.

The label head, Kracht, supplies one of two remixers on offer, and his repertoire includes Darko Esser aka Tripeo's Wolfskuil and Rotterdam's Planet Rhythm.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his remix of “The Summit” that is a driving dance floor jam. Raw, analogue percussion helps to set this up for a bouncy and jackin' ride, while a haunting synth pierces a stunning breakdown, before relaunching into the energetic finale.
