KK Tribute is a 1:45 burst from the QuickServe world—written to the exact timer. It’s my nod to a certain video game’s cool tunes and lead-synth melodies that lived in my head for years and finally slipped out through subconscious inspiration. Like the rest of the QuickServe trio, this was a spur-of-the-moment capture I didn’t want to overthink. Born in the same creative week as Soft Down Math Vibes, it was always meant to complement the next release, QuickServe OG, and rotate inside the app’s three-track jukebox. I tried to ship it in the first build and kept breaking things; by QuickServe 2.0 it clicked right in. I still dream about adding more, but this one feels right—short, bright, and gone before you can overanalyze it. 🌌🍧

KK Tribute

This one’s special. Same QuickServe philosophy: keep it tight at 1:45 and keep it tasty. Cosmic Phil slides in on a chill drum beat and bass line, then—boom—keys light up and start expanding. A haunting pad floats in with a little extra expression, and soon the arpeggiated digits start blurping like your brain reminding you it needs every piece of the equation. Then comes the equal sign—a wink that you’ve come and gone (and maybe practiced a little math along the way).

The QuickServe Pavilion in its first iteration depended on this track to get the cones spinning—hence the OG. It’s been with the app from the very beginning. I’m pretty sure I played parts on my actual computer keyboard. I thought about giving it a second go, making it longer or more “produced,” but honestly…it’s kind of perfect as is—short, sweet, vibey, done. Enjoy!

QuickServe OG

This track is one of the coolest tracks that came out of this entire experience. I knew some of the modes had some songs that I had been using my keyboard (as in the one I type on) for the piano parts. On this one, I hooked up my actual keyboard and really applied myself to the track. You can hear the groove from the very start. I imagined the Infinity Triplets, always thinking of the next loop and sample in the line up. Building with synths and guitar rhythms over a very real sounding drum landscape. That track builds you up, lets you climb, and then removes the ground to see if you have wings. With the proper mindset, you can kick into a cool mental overview of an infinite landscape that somehow received an addition. You remember when you were a kid and said "infinity plus one"? Well this is the plus one. Everything the app needed, with one more looper ready to pop you up and down a sine wave that never ends. Right at the end of Infinity, the bassist reminds you, "There's more...we're always adding it."

Infinity Addition

Put down your guitar, this track is Stoopid and Electro. I'm always looking for sounds I've never heard before. This is, admittedly, a former Kadeshavara track! Which means it is a JPS Grooves track too! So even though it wasn't created for SnowCone MathFest, I gave it a really nice remaster treatment and knew that it would fit in just perfect with neon electric SnowCone MathFest vibe I've been looking for. You can find it in Infinity Lake on the app, or the Jukebox there as well. As usual, you have to put up with my exposition for a little bit before you get to the cool solos and good stuff; give it a minute, let it breathe and you'll hear some pretty cool Stoopid Electro.

Stoopid Electro

Okay..don't get mad at me..this is not a "new" track. But it has a new purpose in SnowCone MathFest and has been completely remastered. The track fades in with a mysteriously edgy bass line, that never really goes away. Just like that math secret you know and can never forget, this track will teach you a melody and then remind you that you knew the old one, turning them round and round until the secret pounds its way to truth. One of my more dissonant guitar lines, I felt like this would be a really good Infinity Lake song. You know, as you're practicing you math with the Infinity Triplets jamming on stage, they could bust out this magnum opus of groove on their turn tables and let the solo rip! I love this song. The solo rips, the bass groove is distorted and rips. The entire thing has great ebbs and flows; this song is the sine wave of composition that I'm always looking for and it found its way into SnowCone MathFest, saying, "I have a secret: I belong here"

Secrets of Math

"Nothing Organic" is a fun track to re-release from my Kadeshavara days, before I rebranded back to JPS Grooves. This track fits so well though, for the Infinity Triplets to play, that I had to remaster it and put it on this album/game. The guitar is present with some heavy power chords, but outside that, this track ebbs and flows through the arpeggiated synth philosophy that makes up this album. After some squishes and squashes, the track begins to build until it's right up in front of you. Yet, the track is surprisingly subtle, which is what I like most about it. When choosing the correct answer on a math game, you're gonna need a consistent beat, and when playing SnowCone MathFest, you're gonna need a consistent tone; this song added to this consistency. Staying until the very end? Be prepared to get arpeggiated into the stratosphere!

Nothing Organic

“SnowCone 90” is one of my favorite Kadeshavara tracks to port over into the JPS Grooves catalogue. Originally titled, soundcloud 90, it is finding a perfect home on the SnowCone MathFest Soundtrack. This song came about when I was working on what was formerly "Kids Camping" and what is now called "Camping Games" in the app. I needed a song of innocence. I didn't feel like innocence could come from an arpeggiator  in this instance. In fact, on this track, everything is brought organically. I recorded the drums, bass, rhythm, and solos on this one, nothing generated at all. I've done nothing but release music for years and to release a 90th track was a big moment; to re-release this track, remastered of course, is an even bigger moment. The chords were learned from a secret universe and the solo that rolls over it reminds me of a honey bee finding a flower in a field. Landing, finally, at home where an acoustic guitar strolls into the sun. Why not..

Snowcone 90

Finally — a brand-new release. Some SnowCone MathFest tracks were resurrected from earlier ideas and lovingly remastered for the festival vibe, but “Story Prologue” is no such revenant. This chill, groovin’ tune was written specifically for SCMF and the opening beat of the narrative.

I love its haunting, hypnotic repetition—it floats in that weird pocket between synth and electric wood (that woody, resonant, almost-handmade tone that still hums with electricity). It’s a patient track, a lesson in holding your nerve: with each Volta, it opens just a little more, revealing new glints without breaking the spell. The pulse never shouts; it invites, rewarding listeners who lean in.

And because SnowCone MathFest is a story as much as a sound, the music is doing lore-work, too. In the prologue, there’s a moment when the stand is empty—no cones moving, just dew, neon, and the hum of possibility. Then, out of nowhere, the math ghosts pour in from a late show at the QuickServe Pavilion, buzzing with color cravings and flavor theories. Suddenly you’re not just scooping ice and syrup; you’re scoring a scene where choices matter, timing matters, and the groove is a guide. Each ghost wants something wild—mint squares, moon rings, triangle crests—and the track keeps the window warm while you work.

“Story Prologue” isn’t background—it’s backstory. It sets the tempo for how this whole world moves: patient, curious, a little eerie, and totally alive. Selling snowcones isn’t just a taste-and-color thing anymore; now it’s got a story, a soundtrack, a motion, a prologue—and this track is the door swinging open. 🌌🍧

Story Prologue

This song is a necessary revival/remaster. “Kitty Paws” is a dedication to kitties everywhere. We bump fists, then push thumbs for the kittens. Meow is what they tend to say—but Grampy P? He has so much more to say. If I could’ve gone all the way and made him a full-on AI chatbot, I would have. What we have now is a Q&A bot with secret codes. Ask him about haiku or jokes and you might get something completely off-menu; ask him about recipes and he’ll actually give you a menu!

But this song? Listen to it. Each note—especially the bass—emulates little kitty paws playfully prancing about. In reality, this song is only ever meant for one cat at a time… at one point, it only ever served… her… Cassidy… she will be… Cassidy… My Little Dead Kitty. But now the song is back in service—serving a cool cat named Grampy P. The cat, the man, the myth, the legend—the chatbot with a soundtrack. Go get some MathTips and jam out to “Kitty Paws”!

Kitty Paws

Deep in the jondules of your innermost being, you can feel this track creep in to compliment the Story Mode Forest additions still growing today. Like rampant bamboo, it keeps pushing outward—ever-tightening beats and improvised arpeggiations carving a guitar line that lands exactly where it should. This wasn’t a premonition; this was a building mission. I knew I needed a new track. I knew it was in me. You can hear the hunt—the guitar prowling for a landing strip and finding that new runways keep lighting up, one after another. So the guitar keeps a-callin’.

Who’s it calling? Patch. Patch answers.

“I hear it,” he says. “And yeah—you wrote it for me. But I’m handing it right back to you. Proof of life, friend. The app isn’t speculation; it’s a heartbeat. Let the ghosts queue at the window, let the dew glow neon at 2 AM, let the cones spin their little galaxies. I’ll ride shotgun and count measures.”

I tell him I wrote this to end the wondering—so no one has to ask whether this ever amounted to something.

“Relax, good sir,” Patch says, grinning. “Run the loop again. We’ve got time—time enough to groove, time enough to ship. Every chorus is a plank in the path. Keep laying boards, I’ll keep the lights on.”
And the track keeps growing—another ring on the tree, another glow on the map, the forest breathing in time with all of us.
