If I Had Known

This EP shows us a different side of STOLZENBOURG’s soundcosmos which easily jumps between
listening and club. The starting beat, a mixture of a noisy, dirty bass, a UK inspired breakbeat and
sporadic chords changes into a chorus which hugs you in a warm and very friendly way: vocals
come up front, the synth and piano chords change into something way more harmonic and the
chimes almost sound like strings. But don’t be fooled: After this small hug and pause for breath it
all comes back with force.

Cologne (Beadoobee cover acapella)

30 min pure Lymo

the piece Cologne Cathedral is created for the 2026 RNIB Calendar. The work was inspired by a trip Freya from Immersion Sound Studio took to Cologne while presenting at a games development conference. Each morning and evening she walked through the city, experiencing the bustle of its citizens and visitors. On one of the mornings she visited Cologne Cathedral at the heart of the city, where she recorded the echoing interior filled with tourists.
The recording is paired with a classical guitar piece composed by Freya Shaw, with cello by Tom Hawkins and cello pad by Ben Chalker. Using the medium of pour art, the grandeur of the vast cathedral is expressed in gold, while the surrounding blue and cream cells evoke the flow of people through the city and cathedral.

Hier ist der Mitschnitt meines Vorspiels für Township Rebellion im Artheater Saal (00:30–02:00). Es war mir eine besondere Ehre, nach diesem Set an die Jungs zu übergeben – selten war ich so aufgeregt. 

Für alle, die da waren – und alle, die’s fühlen wollen: Viel Spaß beim Hören.

HiHat, who co-founded PhonoVision Cologne together with Arno, has been deejaying since 2016 and is almost one of the scene veterans in Cologne despite his young age. At first his distinctive way of DJ'ing was viewed critically, but now his style is being recognised in the Rhineland and beyond. HiHat only plays records and aims to always be musically one step ahead of the scene. With his unmistakable sense for trends and quality, he keeps discovering genres or tracks from the 90s and early 2000s that have been forgotten or previously underestimated. The typical HiHat sound emerges from his creative, high-class mixing skills, and is clearly designed for the world's dance floors: captivating, energetic and in constant development. No matter whether fast or slow, 4/4 or breakbeat - his presence at the DJ booth and his diverse style draw in every crowd and create an unforgettable rave. You can feel in every moment: HiHat loves what he does and gives his best for the music, his audience and an outstanding atmosphere. Nach mehr als einem Jahrzehnt intensiver Beschäftigung mit elektronischer Musik und genügend Dancefloor-Erfahrung stand die Kölnerin JuNi aka Juli 2020 das erste Mal vor Publikum hinter den Decks. 
In den vergangenen Jahren hat sie sich durch gängige Kölner Clubs gespielt und als Fußabdruck stets ihren melodischen, treibenden und verspielten Sound hinterlassen.  
Musikalisch im Melodic Techno heimisch, wurde sie 2022 Resident bei der etablierten Partyreihe „BergWacht“, die 2023 ihr 15-jähriges Jubiläum feierte. Über die Jahre hat sich ihr Sound weiterentwickelt, bricht zunehmend die Genregrenzen zu Peak-Time Techno, Progressive House und Indie auf und ist immer für eine Überraschung gut. 
Die Musik und ihre Auftritte sind für JuNi Herzenssache. Sie hat sich auf die Fahne geschrieben, mit Nostalgie, Innovation und ein bisschen Wahnsinn stets dynamische und facettenreiche Sets zu kreieren, die einfach Spaß machen. 

After more than a decade of deep immersion in electronic music and ample dancefloor experience, the Cologne native JuNi, also known as Juli, stepped behind the decks in front of an audience for the first time in 2020.

Over the past years, she has made her way through well-known Cologne clubs, always leaving her mark with a melodic, driving, and playful sound. Musically rooted in Melodic Techno, she became a resident DJ for the established event series 'BergWacht' in 2022, which celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2023.

Throughout the years, her sound has evolved, increasingly breaking genre boundaries into Peak-Time Techno, Progressive House, and Indie, always ready to surprise. Music and her performances are matters of the heart for JuNi. She has made it her mission to create dynamic and multifaceted sets that are just plain fun, blending nostalgia, innovation, and a touch of madness.
