We’re back with another premiere, this time coming from the steadily growing catalogue of UK label 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲𝘀. Known for pushing a tightly curated blend of minimal and deep electronic sounds, their latest release, the Wonderland EP, stays close to the dancefloor with a focus on groove and sound design. 

Behind the controls is 𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗧, a producer and DJ whose work is gaining traction for its clean yet characterful approach to rhythm. The EP draws on classic minimal tropes: crisp drums, loop-driven momentum, and restrained low-end pressure ─ but doesn’t settle for formula. Instead, BAST threads each track with subtle shifts in tone and groove, showcasing a clear focus on production detail.

Our premiere, “Ticket Inspector" stands out with a tense energy. Chopped vocals, eerie pads, and sharp percussive layers all weave in and out of the mix, creating a sense of controlled chaos that still holds its groove. The track feels restless but deliberate ─ packed with movement, yet balanced in how each element is placed. It stands out as the most immersive and experimental cut on the release.
