I wrote this after doing a deep study of 1950s-60s Brazilian samba and the history of the introduction of bossa nova to an international audience. It combines many of the elements I learned, read, and heard while studying. I plan to record it on multiple guitars that switch roles upon repeating the chord progression (after I write a melody for it).
