Mechanisms

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new video Comfort Cure. "Last Thing" is the first track on the new EP,  Design International, forthcoming on Atlanta's trail blazing DKA records. Toward the end of 2022, the label heard rumors of a new force coming out of Detroit, Michigan, generating a fresh take on body music, fused with the city's historical DNA. Soon they found Tyler Baker aka Comfort Cure, and the collaborating took shape, culminating in this razor sharp release of four original tracks of futuristic EBM accompanied by four remixes from Semantix, Antoni Maiovvi, Broody Faye and Ye Gods.

Darkwave 06-16-2022 Viking Woman & Sic Dog

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Comfort Cure. Detroit's dancefloor demolitionist is back with a brand new single and cassette release, "I'm the Drug", which comes on cassette format and also contains the new song "Lows" and a new version of "Hands of Stone" along with three remixes of "I'm the Drug" on the b-side. Compared to previous Comfort Cure releases, these new tracks focus on a more synth-pop and dance floor oriented sound. The three remixes on the B-side consist of a relentless EBM remix by NYC's Nuxx Vomica, a hard hitting club remix from Kansas City's Moon 17, and a skeletal minimal synth rework by Atlanta's Anticipation.
