I make music using exclusively open-source software. IIR stands for "Infinite Impulse Response".

DAMSEL dee plus is a Melbourne-based music project from Louise Childers and Giles Field. Together, they write sharp, sly, emotionally-charged pop songs with a clean conscience and a filthy imagination. At the centre is DAMSEL - a chaotic, charismatic anti-heroine trying to outrun her twenties in a world of poor choices and great outfits.

DAMSEL is part club wife, part child of the comedown. Her songs blend heartbreak with hedonism, cheap wine with sacred visions, mystery pills and cheese Twisties. Some tracks veer toward pop purity, others dive headfirst into ghetto-tech, breakbeat, and dubstep. What holds them together is her story: one of bad ideas, low-stakes doom, and the occasional flash of redemption - or at least a very stylish collapse.

Dark pop for people who overshare at parties. Making glitchy electronic confessions about toxic losers, boundary-setting, and emotional chaos you can dance to.

"under-feel" started it. "sorry you had to" got the tears out. "emotional subtxt" processed it. "your maybe my never" ended it... for today.

What Plastic Mag calls "tender and frayed, made for dancing with your headphones on at the edge of a breakdown." Music for the overstimulated, the ones whose tabs never close. Pop as digital therapy session.
