"When We Were Children" is my very first song as KALeidOS, and the opening track of my upcoming, self-produced concept album "Becca Flew Away". It is an instrumental math rock song with lo-fi and fusion influences, introducing the two protagonists of the story using music and music only, with artifices such as meter changes, "chattering" guitars and specific scales.

As a time traveller and musician, I am drawn to this world, to the echoes of a civilisation that reached for the stars but fell short, consumed by an ambition they could neither control nor fully understand.
Through my music, I seek to capture the essence of this lost era, particularly the turbulent times around 2070, when humanity's fate hung in the balance. Each song is a journey through time, a sonic exploration of the apocalyptic moments when everything changed, guided by the haunting melodies and atmospheric soundscapes that paint a vivid picture of a world on the brink of collapse.
