Cathy Allen describes the construction and durational inhabitation of #59 of her Non-Urban Renewal Project (NURP) dwellings. On July 7, 2016, Allen occupied and modified her structure for over 13 hours in 110-degree heat. Allen created 62 temporary dwellings at various locations to explore transience, ownership, and gentrification issues in unique non-urban communities. Allen's dwellings off Easy Street have been removed, perhaps to make way for developing the recently signed Zircon Ranch.
