Using the method indicated, an original drone sequence of around 20 minutes, created in Pure Data, was reduced to its current length, which also resulted in some abrupt changes to pitch or timbre, especially in the second half..
The track was created with VLC using random or untimed fast-forward intervals & recorded with Audacity +Soundflower.
An interesting exercise.

Versus the mighty Doctor Row-Jays Thesaurus
Let the battle begin

Round one the challenge opening with Doctor Row-Jay

Good sir, your vocabulary is limited, restricted
Narrow, confined, bounded, circumscribed
A mere fifty words to tell a tale (Fifty words?)
Preposterous, absurd, ridiculous

Now its Doctor Seuss to return the challenge
(ahhhh, heee,he,he)
I'll bet you can't do it (Can't do it)
Not with a Grinch, not with a Sneetch
You'd make kids' heads itch (Make 'em itch, ah-ah)

Moving right along round two, describing love

Affection manifests in myriad forms
Devotion, adoration, fondness, tenderness
Attachment, infatuation, ardor, passion (So many words)
Worship, reverence, veneration, esteem

Love is simple
Love is here (Here, here)
Love makes Whos shed joyful tears

Round three the art of teaching

But children require comprehensive vocabulary
Extensive, broad, wide-ranging lexicons (Big words, big words, big words)
How can diminutive, tiny, minuscule words 
Convey the vastness, enormity, immensity of knowledge

One fish, two fish
Red fish, blue fish
Kids learn to read
That's all they need (All they need, yeah)

Round four describing sadness

Melancholy encompasses sorrow, grief, woe
Despondency, dejection, gloom, despair
Anguish, heartache, misery, distress
Dolor, tribulation, lamentation

The Grinch's heart was two sizes small
That's sadness, friend
That says it all

Round five the breakthrough

Perhaps perhaps, there's wisdom, sagacity
Intelligence, insight in your methodology
Approach, technique, system, strategy

And maybe fancy words can prance
When simple ones lead the dance

I've spent decades cataloguing, organizing
Systematizing every shade of meaning
