This experience is no less spiritual than understanding and reflecting on the truth of the gospel intellectually, merely different. Music evokes memories that mere words cannot, connecting us to our experience of God in worship from the past. Music taps into our creativity, allowing us not merely to participate in worship but become authors and creators of Christian worship ourselves. And music fires our imagination, allowing us by faith to experience the universal church on heaven and earth as we sing and aids us in longing for the eternal worship of new creation. Chuck and Aaron call the Christian church back to its heritage of strong and heartfelt congregational singing.

CONTEXT (AE35+KKNH) is an electro-techno unit consisting of AE35, one of Japan's leading electro producers, and KAIKOU NO HI (KKNH), who has performed numerous live shows not only as a solo artist but also as a support member of Acid Tamiya Sanshiro.
The two, each of whom are strong live performers, teamed up to perform NoPC's latest live set with two MPCs.

Recorded & mixed on 19 & 20 Sep 2024 by Jim Lemanowicz at Blissville Electro-Magnetic Laboratories of Massapequa. 

Process notes -
For this, I put together a 4 track piece in FL Studio and exported stems on Thursday and then reworked those stems along with an altered piece of the full mix in Ableton Live on Friday. 

While I was in FL, I edited 32/16 patterns into 29/16 and also some other time sigs. I tried to keep it minimal, which also makes it a bit harder to count out but in the spirit of the prompt’s description, I enjoy the ambiguity.

The music coming from Vrsion & Nikol’s collaboration captured our attention from the very first listen. With this tenth O.C.D release, we strive to showcase timeless music that we feel will be appreciated as much now as well into the future.

Together they are ‘Body Copy’, a collaborative project between two artists which blossomed in Leeds. Gavin Herlihy (Vrsion), a name that won’t be new to those who were around the early 2000s when he was releasing his music with the most interesting labels of the time and lately on Craig Richard’s The Nothing Special label.

Chris Nicholls (Nikol), resident of the Leeds-Barcelona project MASS has taken steps into his production career with promising results on their first record. For us, this EP has a very special flavour, expressing darker tones compared to the latest EPs on the label.
