"Crosswise Dance" for Low Clarinet Choir is an ensemble piece for massed low clarinets. It's written in a Contemporary Classical style, utilizing only the lower end of the clarinet range for its sounds. The instrumentation includes Alto Clarinet, Basset Horn, 3 Bass Clarinets, a Contra-Alto Clarinet, and a Contra-Bass Clarinet. The recording you are hearing here was realized using Dorico Pro 6 and NotePerformer 5.

This is a piece for eight string players - 2 each of violins, violas, cellos, and contrabasses. It is dissonant and eschews traditional harmony and tonality. The main theme, doubled at the octave, may be heard throughout in canon with itself and in retrograde or in inversion with itself  and in retrograde inversion.

This is a piece for violin, vibraphone, organ, and contrabass cast in the scherzo and trio form. It is in 7/8 meter and is quite dissonant and non-tonal.

Aggressive, raw, hardcore music — pure sonic dirt, pounding and relentless like a factory conveyor. Performed with contrabass, cello, accordion, and choir. This music was composed especially for the theatrical production Ulenspiegel. The premiere took place on August 9, 2023, at TR Warszawa as part of the Week of Belarusian Theatre (Tydzień Teatru Białoruskiego w TR Warszawa).

Addicted to the high of writing music, Einexy has been playing instruments and composing since childhood. He does not wish to conform to any kind of genre-specific craftsmanship, as the musician enjoys listening to, as well as writing, classical compositions, jazz, techno, house, and rock music, among many other genres.

Ben Morris is a composer whose music tells unconventional stories and crosses genre boundaries. He is Assistant Professor of Composition at Stephen F. Austin State University.

Note: In light of the recent AI breakthroughs, we feel it's important to clarify that we've been working with voice modulation since the mid-1990s – originally inspired by David Bowie's album Outside. Our approach predates AI-driven tools and is rooted in treating the voice as an instrument, shaped and sculpted through earlier technologies.

We fully understand that questioning authenticity may not be the intention – but it's worth remembering that all electronic music is, by nature, mediated and transformed. Even Nietzsche pointed out how modern tools shape us: inserting paper into a typewriter already creates a distance that handwriting does not. Perhaps birdsong is the only truly authentic sound. 🐦

Louis Aguirre (f. 1968) Cubansk komponist bosiddende i Danmark. Aguirre er uddannet som komponist i Cuba, Amsterdam, men fortsatte studierne efter han flyttede til Danmark i 2004, og afsluttede solistklassen i komposition ved Det jyske Musikkonservatorium i 2007. Aguirre er en stærk og original stemme i dansk musikliv. Hans værkliste, med mere end 200 værker, inkluderer: opera, orkester- og kammermusik, soloværker, vokalmusik, koral-, elektronisk- og didaktisk musik. Han er en aktiv del af musiklivet i Danmark og Nordjylland, bl.a. ved sit arbejde som medlem af komponistgruppen Snow Mask og som kunstnerisk leder af Snow Mask Ensemblet. En række af hans værker er inspirerede af den cubanske Santeria religion og de religiøse tekster fra området.
