Jens Zygar’s early experiences—living his first decade in Liberia, then moving to the North Sea coast of Germany to attend boarding school—have given him a multicultural perspective on musical language. He began his professional exploration of sound as a guitarist in the Hamburg-based new wave band Große Freiheit (Great Freedom). In the early 1980s, Swiss author and scientist Hans Cousto introduced him to the concept of the “cosmic octave,” inspiring him to develop “planetary gongs” that resonate with the frequencies, tones, and harmonics in nature. In the late 1980s, he cofounded the Stars Sounds Orchestra with keyboardist Steve Schroyder, combining the gongs with electronic sounds. Today, Jens Zygar is a well-known global gong artist engaged in a large range of projects, including lectures and workshops as well as performances.

Oriom is Rainer von Vielen’s solo project.
Rainer has been working on these space trips for many years. During the time of lockdown, the moment to let a wholesome idea become an album had finally come.
Each song is composed in a specific planetary tuning. The frequency of the planet’s revolution around the sun, raised in octaves to an audible range. Beats that resonate with these frequencies. That is the core of this album.
Thus, the journey begins on Mars, continues to the Platonic year of planet Earth, then flies away to Venus and takes to a terrestrial day, only to spin along the annual frequency of our home planet (432 Hz) for 28 minutes. Eventually, the album closes on the gravitational length of our sun.
Rainer has discovered the rich depths of throat singing a long time ago and found a fulfilling and moving force in this form of singing. Controlled breathing, to which he mostly found in meditation, is the source of the sound. The “Healing Source”.
He finds the combination of archaic means of sound production and electronic soundscapes very fascinating. To him, harmonizing these worlds while resonating with the planets of our solar system is a mirror of the all-oneness.

地球の公転周期（１年）のオクターブにあたる周波数に調律した楽器で演奏した音楽です。

地球が太陽の周りを１周する周期と、この音楽の音の周波数が、ドレミで言えば低いドと高いドの関係になり、同じ音に聴こえ調和するという考えです。

地球の１年は、365日と約1/4ですので、
1/(365.2425*24*60*60)*2の32乗=136.1Hz（C#）
に楽器を調律しました。（A=432.1Hz）

リズム（bpm）も１年のオクターブにあたる、63.8bpmで演奏しました。

地球の音楽ということで、母なる大地のイメージとして、

In fact, their music project finds its origin in the Columbian forests where these beautiful souls first met, as soloist artists. The word ALUNA also descends from the natives of that land. Among the Kogi people, Aluna represents the "cosmic mind" the mysterious realm from which all life is being dreamt and sung into exsistence.
