If you ski or snowboard in Almaty, then you have probably heard about Elevation parties, which regularly take place at the highest points of local ski resorts. Started in 2016 as a small gathering of music enthusiasts, we eventually grew into a full-scale Apres-Ski musical event, as the aesthetics of ski resorts attract not only winter sports fans but also adherents of outdoors and music. 

Our mission is to raise the level of the Kazakh musical scene to the global extent, as well as to promote Almaty as the musical capital of Central Asia. One of the main elements of each Elevation party is the venue - the best places with stunning mountain views.

Kazakhstan with its Almaty mountains completely overwhelmed me with bliss. I was able to celebrate the whole festival with the dear Cosmic Picnic Tribe, with all its cultural enchantment and uniqueness, the best food and a breathtaking scenery. What a trip cosmic, monadic brothers and sisters. I will never forget it.

In this spirit, my heartfelt gratitude goes out to all of you for your heartwarming beings, your open arms in every way, the great genuine conversations and the amazing family rave! I could enthused about it for hours. I found new friends who, with their nomadic culture, fit perfectly into my nature-loving, bushcraft, forest-gnome essence and life. :DD:P

San Miguel’s musical signature is defined by his various interests and influences of his travels through time and space which manifests itself into a soundscape of hypnotic spheres and deep driven basses. Often combined with folkloric elements and a range of organic instruments, his sound weaves unique tales that carries the audience gently and straight into an ecstatic dance experience. He is a master for clashing the styles and shows a deep instinct for timing and suspense as he draws a bow throughout his mixes that will move any dance-floor that thrives on powerful global beats and psychedelic rhythms. That special composition led him release his own productions on labels such as Leveldva, Underyourskin Records, Lump, LNDKHN, Cosmic Awakenings, Serafin Audio Imprint and many more...

Together with LaniRose (@lanirose_monada), he launched his second electronic music label and sonic community „MŎNɅDɅ“ (@monada-project) in 2018, based by the philosophical monad as expression of the pure eternal essence which exists in every living being. Featuring talents from all over the earth, the label provides a playground for hand-picked and visionary sounds, expressing multicultural and contemporary beauty in modern simplicity. A space dedicated to emotional, deep, organic downtempo and progressive, melodic slowtech focusing on consistent deepness and defined by outstanding sound scripts and creativity.

As "Mônada Project" the two free spirits San Miguel and LaniRose are leading a rental & setup service with a variety of festival equipment like PA, tents, booths and unique light installations, hosting sound-journeys, gatherings and festivals & co-create together with the global tribe. Kazakhstan is not very well known for it’s electronic music scene but there are a few people who represent the country on a global scale and Aidar is one of them. He is a producer, promoter and a dj, wether it be his musical experiments under the alias of Wawawiwas or Cosmic Picnic festival and Elevation parties which are regularly held high up in Tian Shan mountains.

A true musical nomad and embassador of central asian music scene he has hosted shows on Energy FM, Proton Radio and shared decks with djs like M.Rux, Britta Arnold, Joyce Muniz, Paul Traeumer, Simple Symmetry, Bora Uzer, Shubostar, Theus Mago and many more. 

Aidar’s music includes digital and vinyl releases in different genres on various labels such as Spring Tube, Nang, Rune Recordings, Mind Over Matter, UBER and others.
