Hello dear music and fashion lovers,

here is my set from Paris Fashion Week, a week of pure magic — fashion, art, chaos, louder dreams, wonderful people I've met and endless inspiration under the city and stage lights. 

We closed it properly with that fashionable glam rave energy spinning under the mirror ball glow. 

 We danced — between couture and chaos, sequins and sweat, where cosmic disco met acid house, and old school timeless classics whispered to the future — because style and rhythm belong together.

My afterparty set is now up on SoundCloud + Mixcloud, recorded straight after the show — raw, emotional, a little wild, just like the week itself.
Turn it up, pour a little champagne, and let it take you back to the catwalk.

Biography:

Ilya Santana is a name that echoes through the shimmering corridors of electronic music, particularly in the realms of space disco and cosmic funk. Born and raised in the Canary Islands, a place where the Atlantic meets the dust of Africa, Santana found himself drawn to the edges of sound early on—edges where melody could float, and rhythm didn’t have to march. He came up through the analog warmth of the ‘70s and the cold seduction of the ‘80s, and somehow fused both into his own kind of future nostalgia.

His career took root in the early 2000s, not through grand gestures but through consistency—a steady stream of releases that wound their way through labels like Balearic stalwarts Eskimo Recordings and Nang. Each track, a kind of ode to neon dreams and late-night drives, became a testament to Santana’s gift for atmosphere: his music doesn’t just play, it inhabits. There’s a cinematic quality to his work, like he’s scoring the movie of a life that’s never quite real but always feels familiar.

Ilya’s sound is less about chart-topping bravado and more about evocation. It lingers. It hums beneath the surface of memory. Through remix work, original compositions, and DJ sets that feel like journeys, Santana has shaped a career that’s both low-key and influential—an underground luminary lighting the way for those who understand that some of the best music doesn’t demand attention, it earns it.

Ilya is running his own record label "Astrolead recordings" specialized on the most underground side of Disco, Space/Cosmic disco, Retro and Synthwave.
Also started duties as a sound designer crafting sample/loops packages for "Loopmasters"

Laree Love's passion for music started in the 1980's. Buying punk, Alternative, New Wave, Goth, Industrial, EBM and dance music. In the late 80's A friend took him to Kris Clark's now legendary ZOOTZ  nightclub in Portland Maine and it was love at first sight. Weekly visits to ZOOTZ and adjoined club, The WAREHOUSE led to exposure of new music played by local heavy hitter DJs. 
  DJ OVERLOAD, Dale Charles, Deb Dufresne and Dale 'DA DRED" Dorsett were all major influences.  
   In 1992 Kris Clark gave Laree his DJ break. Laree went on to have various weekly nights at ZOOTZ for almost 10 years, playing house/techno/breaks at raves, parties and clubs all over New England and beyond during this time. 
   Laree also had residencies at the now defunct UNA lounge and Mercury bar in Portland's Old Port. After moving to NYC in the 2000's, Laree had a short residency at MARLOWE and SONS in Brooklyn. Laree is based in Los Angeles and still collects music and plays house parties and guest spots.

Feed Your Head Sunday morning radio show based in the UK on Kane FM hosted by Scott Hutchinson & Jules. Each week they play a heavenly selection of wonky acid house disco beats between 11am and 1pm with guests from around the big blue spinning planet we all live on.
