Castle Crashers
 is set in a fictional medieval universe. It begins with four knights attending a party in a king's castle. During the party, a dark wizard arrives, stealing a mystical gem and capturing four princesses. The king sends the knights to retrieve the gem, rescue his daughters, and bring the wizard to justice.[6] The knights encounter several enemies along the way, including other knights, multiple encounters with a cyclops and a knight who might be the cyclops' son, thieves, a giant "catfish", fencers, an industrial prince, ninja pirates, demons, a necromancer, a dragon, Medusa, a frost king, and alien invaders. As the knights progress, they succeed in rescuing the princesses, and ultimately the journey culminates in a final showdown with the evil wizard. The knights emerge victorious from the confrontation, having defeated the dark wizard, rescued all of the king's daughters, and recovered the mystical gem.[6] The knights then ride the reclaimed gem through several empty battlefields on their trip back to the castle. At the castle the king brings one of his daughters for one of the knights to kiss, her face veiled throughout the entire game. As with previous levels, the players fight to the death to claim a kiss from the princess. However, when the winner tries to do so this time, the princess is revealed to be a clown (A character that first appeared in an animation by Dan Paladin) that blankets the screen in the ending animation with penguins, weasels, kitties, hearts and rainbow beams.[6]

The Wizard first appears at the beginning of the game, where he invades the kingdom's castle and steals a giant crystal from behind the King's throne, escaping by floating with the crystal. The King immediately dispatches his knights to go after him and his henchmen, who kidnapped the four princesses. He appears again in the Lava World level, along with the Necromancer, his right hand. They create undead minions for the heroes to fight and later the two revive the Cyclops, which had been previously defeated. After this he appears in the Industrial Castle after the knights defeat the machines controlled by the Industrial Prince, who gives the Orange Princess to the Wizard and attempts to flee along with him only to get zapped and left behind.


The knights finally find the Wizard on his castle, along with the Painter, the revived Cyclops, and the Necromancer, using the power of the crystal to raise his castle into the sky. After his three minions are defeated, the knights finally confront the Wizard himself. After the four floating crystals controlled by him are destroyed he drops into the arena, using a magical shield which changes between protecting him from either physical or magical attacks, all while shooting magic bolts from a distance. After this form is defeated he inflates and starts floating while dropping magical bombs, and after being defeated a large golden chest drops on him, much like the ones which drops on defeated bosses. Is local multiplayer in the Xbox 360 version of Castle Crashers possible without using separate profiles per player? For example, if I have several high-level unlocked characters in my profile, would I be able to use them in a local multiplayer game with guests?


So my friend and I bought castle crashers 2 years back on PS4 and the game was filled with online bugs, from black screens, desyncs, trophies not unlocking and just crashes. Anyone played castle crashers recently and can report if these bugs are fixed or notice any new ones when playing online with friends? We actually managed to get a refund for this game as it was so broken. It's now back on sale and wondering if we should give it another go


On the Steam version, does anyone still play the multiplayer version? I was looking for somebody to help me with flowery field on insane, but nobody seems to join when I make a multiplayer server or whatever it is.
