Inverze - Crepuscular (ALBUM)

The resemblance of twilight ...  the diffusion of sun rays trough the atmosphere ... the final light beams before darkness ... and a top shelf selection of funky hypnotique creations by the one and only Inverze.  All this is crepuscular.

Alex aka Inverze needs no introduction in the psytrance world. Hes been a key member of our ranks since the renewal of the label and one of the most prominent live acts of the new wave of Mexican psychedelic music.

After a full year of hardwork, plenty of late night sessions and countless joints smoked.  Without further ado, Ibidelyc Recordings is proud to present you CREPUSCULAR.  A ten track album filled with Alex´s newest material featuring our good friends ADAY, Hamssa and label mate Olokun.

I built it from audio samples taken at Lago Ansenuza [ 30°30′S 62°40′W ], a salt lake located in the NE of the province of Córdoba, in central Argentina.
A beautiful place, with a tragic background and mysteries.

I also had the indescribable pleasure of making the final master of the compilation.

[BR-049] V/A - RIGOR MORTIS (pt.3) concludes the trilogy, not with a resolution, but a disintegration. If the previous chapters were a descent, this is the shattering. All semblance of structure collapses, leaving only fragments of sound scattered across a desolate sonic landscape. The familiar tension gives way to a raw, unbridled chaos. Harsh noise assaults the senses, textures warp and contort beyond recognition, and the listener is left adrift in a sea of pure, undiluted extremity. This is not music for comfort, but for confrontation; not for escape, but for immersion in the very heart of sonic annihilation. This is the final stage of rigor mortis: the complete surrender to the void. Enter at your own risk.

[BR-049] Crepuscular - Digital Corpse

[BR-050] V/A - CONTAGION slowly pulls you into its viscous depths, spreading like an infection through your nervous system. At times muted and barely perceptible, at others erupting in bursts of resonance, notes, voices, and screams carve into consciousness, leaving behind echoes of forgotten suffering. In the background, distorted synths seep through, flickering textures shimmer, whispers rustle, and unidentifiable frequencies scrape at the edges of perception. Occasionally, the hum swells into a painful roar, only to dissolve back into the shadows. This is not just music it is the sensation of an alien presence lurking just beyond reach. Within this fog of sound, something almost tangible emerges mysterious, spectral, unsettling.

Joel the Mole is a NY based composer , film-maker, and artist. He makes music for his own selfish delights, but hopes you enjoy it too.
Joel is compelled to make music of frequent change, so if you like a steady groove, you may not be so happy here. He collaborates nicely, usually with friends like the amazing Carlos Vivanco (Like Wow, Decibel, Andromeda Crash),
mega-bassist Keith Macksoud (Present),
David Bond Engelhard on benevolent battery, 
double bassist John Convertino, and sometimes with fellow Westchester Conservatory alumnus Matt Lamborn on guitars. 
Joel plays guitars, piano, keyboards, the "arachnid bass", and other toys. The music is often radicalized during his editing process.
Some of the scores are 'performed' by software.
