Each year for the last party of the Kurzfilm Festival Hamburg the team members take over the decks at the festival club. Every DJ (or DJ team) gets appr. 45 minutes in which everything can and will be played. No high-brow approach but pure party love. The outcome is a beautiful, highly loveable, sometimes cheesy but always danceable very eclectic selection. So here's my part of this party!

Year after year, it's incredible to experience what can be achieved with the best festival crew imaginable in such a magical place. Stadtflucht truly has everything you need to feel like you're in paradise – and that's all thanks to the passion and dedication from everyone involved, as well as the amazing atmosphere created by all the wonderful people who attend. It's a festival made by friends, for friends, to make even more friends :)

The highlight for us this year was undoubtedly the invitation to close the outdoor floor on Saturday together from 8 to 10pm, just as the sun was setting. As dark technoid cave dwellers who usually play towards the end of the night, we were both thrilled and a bit challenged at first, thinking hard about what to play for such an amazing slot. Thank you so much for your trust – it means the world to us! <3

From the first second to the last beat, we had the best time. Without getting too sentimental (though we could go on for hours), we're excited to share that the recording we thought was lost has finally resurfaced - enjoy the ride!!!

Dimitris Galanakis, known by his stage name DEMAR, is a celebrated DJ from Athens, Greece, renowned for his unique fusion of hip-hop, R&B, and house music.

It's 3 am eternal somewhere in this world right now but when listening to this you can be sure you won't be alone again with the dawn coming up. In the end House,  Hip Hop, Techno and Disco are no four letter words.

Die einen nennen ihn Jörn, die anderen Sommersonnenwende. Seit kurzem hört er auch auf Papa. 
Der 31-jährige DJ, Produzent und Däddy kann bereits auf eine fabelhafte Karriere zurückblicken. Angefangen hat es auf den  Straßen Berlins. 

Openairs und Raves haben Sommersonnenwende zu dem gemacht was er heute ist. 

Aus diesem Drive schloss er sich dem Label Schwerelos Berlin an, bei dem er nun die Fäden in die Hand genommen hat. 

Manche sagen, es sei Space-Techno, manche sagen, es sei Acid oder HardGroove. Wie auch immer man es nennt, es fühlt sich an wie eine väterliche Umarmung. 

Alles, was wir wissen, ist, dass Sommersonnenwende auf einer Mission ist, den Dancefloor zum kochen zu bringen.

For El Batos, who is even named after a musician, music started playing a big role as a young teenager while digging in the vinyls of his father and experiencing the incredible power of music. Being the connection between subculture, underground and the conscious event scene, the lovely Good Vibes Machine travels around with a huge smile on his face to share love & positive energy on the dancefloors of the world.
