This is my first recorded vinyl mix since getting back into it at the start of the year - This mix is fully off the cuff and unplanned and was only intended to be a test recording on the pioneer app - I'm pretty happy with how it came out :)

We&amp#39;re thrilled to broadcast Philadelphia-based composer Jordan Deal&amp#39;s sixty minutes adventurous music. The multi-disciplinary artist responded to our invitation with an adventurous sound cut-up in line with his latest album &ampquot;Seas of Triple Consciousness&ampquot; (Horn Of Plenty, 2024), meddling with avant-garde, spoken word, cosmic jazz and a couple more genres at service of a distinct narrative. In this show, Jordan assembles similar influences and sound pieces, sewing together excerpts from a Don Cherry interview, jazz and soul classics from Nina Simone and Alice Coltrane with detours through Death Grips, Prince and Julius Eastman. This fluid puzzle of sound references comes ornamented with a couple of field recordings, reminding the listener of his traveling habits. Enjoy the ride..
