This is an album that was initially thrown out to give you a cinematic experience through fractured soundscapes. But it fractured even more in the creative process. It's dissimilar within, featuring multiple, diverse, and contradictory elements, all carefree and unapologetically blending a bunch of different music genres: from dark ambient music to orchestrated hardcore. Whether you experience it as a cinematic experience or as a standalone album, it will still resist to fit neatly into any one category.

The album has some experimental tracks that are incomprehensible and that is the whole point: to unlearn and discover new possibilities of expression. They are written in an experimental language I invented called “Xylarum” focused on increasing the body's potential, created not for logical meaning or representation, but to express what cannot be expressed with common language and to explore new sensations, affective qualities of sound and emotional impact of phonetics. I tried to make a ritualistic experience that taps into the bodily/sensual richness of sound. Ultimately, it’s both a challenge and a sabotage of meaning itself. Words as pure sounds, music. Examples: anatzantzken klivuz (track 6, feat. Nhalyreth), vrithkalluun throxxylar (track 7, feat. Draelliska), vorthemblisectra nyxarí (track 10, feat. Variell).

The “deep” is already in the “surface”. "brkn mnngs + mltng mnds" lives on the fringes of society, inviting you to explore a multitude of sensations, not just one. This is a world where sound and meaning are in constant flux. There is no limit to becoming other.

Ofb1t is an electronic music composer, singer, producer, digital artist and performance artist, assembling multiple rogue potentiating machines.

His work embodies a dark, cathartic and fragmented world — one of rupture, reinvention and strangeness. Born of chaos, guts and excess, it’s driven by impersonal forces of life, intensity and chance. Here, metanarratives like Truth, Reason, Reality, Being, Meaning, Identity and Human reveal their inherent futility.

Where language crumbles within the raw force of viscerality and the ineffable, Ofb1t explores themes such as the absurdity and mystery of existence, angst, the non-human within, desire, immanence, multiplicity, madness, transformation, alienation, mortality, technology and interconnectivity.

Free from fixed genres and styles, Ofb1t continues to expand his multifaceted body of work, challenging the commercial and homogenizing standards of mainstream art and entertainment. His creations often reflect a deep, critical engagement with social, psychological and philosophical issues.

Rooted in a lo-fi/DIY ethos, he draws from the Avant-Gardes (Dada, Surrealism, etc.), conceptual art, glitch and goth art, dark fantasy, anime noir, mixed media, AI hallucinations, posthumanism, and poststructuralism. His sound mutates through darkwave, gothic rock, post-punk, noise, cinematic dark ambient, techno-electro, industrial, dark indie-pop, glitch, hardcore, and beyond.
