Commander John Ross leaves with his first officer Lindy for down time with his family on the resort starship Earthstar. Ross dreads the arrival of his cold and calculating Intelligentsia father, John Ross, Sr. who was away during Ross’s childhood working for the Command intelligence service. His brother’s ship is hijacked with intense tug drag beams to the planet Scaeva Tengal. Ross and Lindy appropriate a hotel ship but are also taken to Scaeva Tengal by the tug drag beams. They are prisoners of the Sol Domain. Sol is a Cyvac, a human whose neurological pathways have merged with advance nanocircuits. Cyvacs are programmed and follow order. Human destiny and aspirations are stripped away. Such beings are the result of a runaway Command project call the Pegasus-Merisheli. As Lindy and his family face revacing at Sol City, Ross escapes to the Heartland with his father, gaining a closer bond as they search for the director of the Pegasus-Merisheli Project, Dr. Tsiolkovsky. After encountering a divergent religious order called the Elias Sect, Ross and his father reenter Sol City for a final show down with Sol. But Sol has joined forces with Ross’s defeated enemy from the Antarian War, Rafac and a rogue Command ESS commander Jack Bragg. Using the revacing technology they have taken over ESS ships, including Ross’s own vessel to avenge the Antarian loss to Command during the war. All of Command is threaded unless Sol and Rafec are stopped

As we enter that optimistic Star Trek future, where everything is automated and everyone lives a life of peaceful leisure staring at their screens, Guy Morgan and David Newell look back at how the future was viewed by classic television during Britain's golden age - 1956 and the Suez Crisis to 1974 and the three day week. We discover that amongst all the bright predictions, many writers and producers were offering a rather more gloomy forecast.
Dave takes charge of the robots (although there's a tussle regarding the Cybernauts) while Guy tinkers with giant computers.
But where, you ask, do the Daleks and Cybermen fit in?
What's the best way to disable an errant computer? (A trip to your local ironmonger's might prove useful) 
and never, never cancel a scientist's funding -- who knows what they might get up to in revenge?

Cape Cod author Robert P. Fitton presents podcasts, featuring episodes from his books. Fitton adds a unique perspective with a New England accent in his own whimsical way several times a week.

Fitton graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, majoring in American Studies, with emphasis on American History. In college he added science fiction writing and American literature courses. Post college Fitton expanded his writing craft by studying with science fiction and mystery authors as well as screenwriters. Fitton developed a strong but thoughtful voice, many times humorous, buttressed by a direct style and influenced by Hitchcock’s mystery thrillers, Star Trek and the Twilight Zone. His time travel novels are spun from his love of history and sense of adventure.
