Utah Beach is where the 24th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron, Mechanized, came ashore. First, a detachment from Troop B occupied the Île du Large on June 6 - 8, then the rest arrived on Utah Beach on June 15.

Mike Walling is the author of Bloodstained Sands: US Amphibious Operations in WW II and here he takes us through that operation and more.

But it wasn’t until he really started experimenting in 2008 and feeling the psychedelic atmosphere that he discovered he wanted to share and entertain the people with.
It was in 2012, in a wake of giving a platform to release his creation, the idea of Profound Records was formulated with the help his partner Radhika Bhanot .Since then Profound Records has not only given him the freedom that he needed but also has been supporting the upcoming generations of talented musicians and DJ's along with the prominent names in a profoundly way.
 
From these humble beginning, Profound Records has been able to establish his name among the prominent international record labels  with an increasing number of followers & a solid reputation which was also marked by #37 position in 2014 by Beatport tracker on Top PsyTrance Labels list.

A podcast for non-experts about the WW2 campaign to liberate Europe in 1944/45. It's to support a project researching the 24th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron, Mechanized, who took part all the way from the D-Day Normandy landings to Germany.
Although the project is specifically about the squadron, the podcast isn't. It looks at events and features of the campaign with which they were involved.
