Born in Cali, Colombia, but now living in Medellín, Colombia, Juan Pablo Torrez fell in love of electronic music at a very short age with progressive trance music, but it was not until his 18 years old that he took his love for this music to the decks. Afterwards, highly influenced by artists like Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Danny Howells, Sasha and by progressive, trance and techno sounds of that time, Juan Pablo Torrez made his style very versatile which allowed him to surf between genres and that he maintains until today. This has allowed him to perform in countries like Greece, Hungary, Spain, Argentina and USA, hold plenty of club residencies as well as performed in major and massive events such as Summerland Festival (2013 and 2015 editions) in the Main Stage, DayDreaming Festival 2018 (Budapest, Hungary) and Bloque Festival 2018 (Kavala, Greece).

Music and Djn was a huge part of my life for many years and my interest for music started at a very early age. 

My Mom worked for EMI( at time the world biggest recordlabel) and for me as a 4 year old, their office was the best place in the world. Later in life it also ment that i had an extensive record collection before the age of 13.

I started Djn at the age of 15 and i did my my first radio broadcast 1988 at age 17 for FMAK from their studio in Blackeberg outside Stockholm, about the same time i started to Dj at the local youth center.

From there i moved on to weddings, graduations, private functions, underground clubs, nightclubs, Bars. Ive Broadcasted local pirate radio and hosted my own saturday night radio show together with my Dj friends Claudio & Leffe.

Always for the love of music and passion for the dance floor.

I want to give thnx to all musicians and producers that makes my job so fucking awsome.
