"Music has always been a huge passion for Dawn Again. Whether it be djing, record collecting and production it has always been in his life since 14. Born & bred in Melbourne, DA’s spent time living in New York, and traveled through Europe & Asia. DA has always focused heavily on production and proudly sports a slew of records on his own label Enjoyment Division, Hell Yeah Recordings, Love Above Records, Houseworx, Rothmans, Tusk Wax, Blind Jacks Journey, Ombra, Wonder Stories, Roam Recordings, El Diablo Social Club. In addition of multiple digital releases on Hell Yeah Recording, Daisy Records and more. In 2020, Dawn Again started his own record label, Enjoyment Division, which he has released various records, in both vinyl & digital format. In 2024 DA released his debut album, “Every Dog’s Hotel” on the Italian balearic label, Hell Yeah Recordings. DA’s djing ranges from downtempo, to house, to techno. In the last couple of years DA’s released mixes on various influential mix series such as:  Melbourne Deepcast, For Home Use Only, Rotations, Dug Up The Bongo, Music for Ears & more"

A slow ambient instrumental inspired by a cold rural dawn in late October. Quiet, tender, and slightly haunted — soft drones and airy textures drift around faint hints of wind and wood. Minimal piano tones echo through the stillness, suspended in time like breath misting in morning air.

Created as a companion piece to Whisper Creek – Episode 1: The Anniversary.

The leaves wear their late-season glow, mist drapes the fields like breath, and the first birds begin to gather — circling in silence above the treetops, readying themselves for the long journey south. It is a moment of transition: summer has faded, the day leans into dusk, and the wind begins to whisper of distant warmth.

The music follows this quiet movement, not with haste, but with remembrance. Its sounds unfold like light dissolving into stillness — gentle, breathing, full of foreboding. What fades does so not abruptly, but like a thought slowly slipping away. And as all things retreat into slumber, a long sleep begins — not as an end, but as a promise: that something will return, when the time is right.

My sound “Dawn” is inspired by Dorothy’s setting in Kansas. It represents the transition from a sad, rural, and lifeless world to the turmoil of the cyclone, which carries us into the beginning of a new adventure, a serene world filled with tranquility.

As Wolf Hagen, I compose music for the silence between the notes. Drawing from the tradition of great masters like Bach and Pachelbel, I find inspiration to weave baroque clarity with the emotional complexity of our time.
The interplay of piano and cello stands at the heart of my work – two voices that complement, challenge, and exist in harmonic tension with each other. I add orchestral elements with care, never to dominate, but to open spaces: for reflection, for stillness, for those precious moments of pause.
My compositions are not statements, but invitations – to discover hidden emotions, to find quiet in a noisy world.

Living simply, creating weirdly.

I've been crafting rap, trap and drill beats for a few years, but my love for music does't stop there. I've always been an avid listener of drum and bass but just recently I started to producing it.
