PAPYRUS!DESS TRUTHERS RAISE UP YOUR BATS!

So, I finally got around to making the Dess!Gerson themes! Anyway, You're probably wondering why this is Papyrus themed and not Alphys/Mettaton themed? Theres a whole bunch of reasons why but in short: It was cooler and fit better! I did have an alternate idea of Dess being an Asgore reference (with both The Knight and Asgore being set up as the "Big Bads" in their respective games) but I couldn't make any music for it.

Anyway, "In-game" Dess shows up as "The Great Yuletide" a very Papyrus like character (with a bit of Martlet mixed in there as well) Dess used to play in this old christmas play back in the day (I imagine said play would have also been an interpretation of the prophecy like everything else in DR's world). This is so that Noelle & Asriel just believe She's a Darkner of Dess' character and not actually Dess since (1) It would be kinda awkward and (2) If Noelle learned that Her sister could be brought back who knows what would happen...

Design wise: Yuletide would have a similar outfit to CR!Noelle's Dark World form but of a higher rank and with Papyrus elements mixed in.

Lastly, Music! Since Gerson's themes are based on Undyne's (Structure and all) I wanted to try a unique idea and instead style these songs like Papyrus' but I did try to keep the same type of Motif progression that Gerson's themes had. (I might make more faithful ones in the future idk) I also based these themes off the Royal!Papyrus themes made by Saster. (there's also a bit of Martlet's theme in these as well) Enjoy!

That's right! She's the Royal Knight!

So Yuletide's "Hammer of Justice" form is "The Royal Knight" it's basically like Dess' "Roaring Knight" form but more silly and Papyrus like.

Battle wise: The Blue SOUL is used and it's new gimmick would be a wall jump mechanic (think Celeste gameplay wise or something like that idk). The battle would be a mix of both Papyrus and Sans' fights (sort of a midpoint between the two) and have Noelle and Yuletide facing off in a 1V1.

At this point in the story Dess' Yuletide act is starting to slip a little (hence the guitars in this song) and Noelle is 80% confident that Yuletide is straight up Dess so in the battle they're basically acting how they would with each other normally. Classic Sibling Rivalry. I imagine the Lord of the Hammer dialogue would be based off Dragon Blazers or even the play Yuletide originates from this time round.
