[FULL SET] Dark & Vibey Progressive House | Twitch DJs Organic, Melodic, Progressive Raid Train

Recorded set from a small 30-person electronic nightclub in southern Thailand.

HEIT is a new downtempo mix series that offers insight into the slower-tempo back catalogue of DJs and musical artists from various genres.

Wax Material, a London-based artist who also runs a mobile record store under the same name. Having developed her sound in Ibiza and Romania, Wax Material is known for upbeat, party-ready sets packed with deep, minimal grooves, cheeky basslines, stripped-back house, minimal garage, 2-step, swung jazz, and textural minimal. She regularly plays for renowned events such as Slapfunk, Beeyou, and is a regular at UK festivals such as Gottwood.

For this special Glastonbury set, Wax Material took a different approach — creating a smooth, mellow journey with a selection of rare and cherished records quietly collected over the years. These are the kinds of tracks often kept to herself — enjoyed in private moments, rather than shared on dance floors — making this mix a unique window into that side of her musical world.

Launching HEIT with this recording felt like the perfect way to set the tone for the series.

There was once a little girl who wished only to play. She stood at the edge of her small world, where the garden ended and the unknown began. The wind carried her laughter like flutes, delicate and fleeting, yet beneath it stirred something more sinister... the low hum of organs, the murmur of voices that sounded like spells.

She did not know what lay beyond. She would stare into a forest of shadows. But the call was irresistible. Something pulled her step by step: whispers morphing into chants, melodies giving way to vast, trembling synths, until drums shook the ground beneath her feet like an earthquake.

Was it an invitation, or a warning? She could not tell. All she knew was that the world was awake, and waiting.

Originally from the U.K., Mark Eteson has been DJing since 1999, touring for over a decade in the golden era of trance, producing and releasing music on esteemed labels such as Anjunabeats, Armada and Garuda, collaborating with legends such as Above & Beyond and Paul van Dyk. 

In 2013, Eteson decided to make a move to the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas, after signing an exclusive residency with Hakkasan Nightclub. As the music industry in Las Vegas soared to new heights, so did Eteson, constantly evolving to the changing preferences of the audience and their thirst for new content.

In December 2020, he embarked on his most ambitious project yet, HOUSE of LEAVES — an immersive live-music experience that spins a fresh nightlife narrative. In partnership with Bluebird Wood Enterprises, Eteson stepped into the world of music-event production, taking an innovative approach, fusing art and theater from concept to creation: YOU are part of the story as the music guides you through some of the most unique venues in the World.

In Oct 2024, Eteson launched a concept of 5 years in the making, 'THE STORY of EVERYTHING'; a visual odyssey through the history of the Universe and consciousness, described by Gareth Emery as 'Planet Earth on steroids'. Premiered in the Palms Casino IMAX theatre, the hybrid movie has won 2 film festival Laurels, and featured a Dolby Atmos soundtrack with a 90-min score, performed live by Mark.  The Future is Now.
