Del trópico pal mundo 🧞‍♂️ Un viaje por paisajes sonoros orgánicos. Ritmos electrónicos y latinos, combinados con géneros como nu-cumbia, downtempo, dembow y afro-electrónica.

En algún momento de mi vida me encasille en no explorar mi lado creativo, y creo que para todas y todos hay un antes y después del COVID. -Soy Baltodano, generación del 84, sin embargo, de forma almática siento esa edad no me es absoluta, siempre estando cercano con mi niño interno y desde ahí explorando hasta la actualidad. - Ademas de dj siempre soy médico.  Vivo en Costa Rica, amante de la comida típica. 
Reconocerme como dj no ha sido fácil, al ponerlo en contexto la primera vez que toque, fue como cuando recete mi primer acetaminofén, sin embargo, la experiencia de principio hasta la actualidad fue y es fascinante. Inicia en una cena teniendo la idea de proyectarme como DJ, DJLab mi escuela.

Una caracterización sería: 
Soy un DJ de música electrónica emergente viviendo cada experiencia, tratando de acercarme a la mejor versión que aspiro ser y el ser DJ es parte de esa mi versión.

Born in Heredia, Costa Rica; KEVEK is an artist whose journey from percussion to electronic music has shaped his versatile sound. From a young age, he developed a strong connection to rhythm. Starting as a drummer/percussionist, he spent over 7 years studying music theory and percussion at the “Escuela de Música de Barva” and performed across Costa Rica before discovering DJing in 2021.

After graduating from DJLAB CR in July 2024, he’s focused on making a mark on Costa Rica’s electronic music scene.

KEVEK is driven by a desire to connect through music, creating unforgettable moments that unite people on the dancefloor with his uplifting energy and immersive sound.
