Hailing from the West Midlands of the UK, father and son duo Canis X Sirius are about to
take the drum and bass scene by storm.

The story of Canis X Sirius is one that is both heartwarming and thrilling. Andy, the father,
began his DJ journey many years ago on the vibrant Birmingham scene, all while his son Brad
was just a baby. Fast forward to today, and the two have come together to form a powerful bond through their shared passion for drum and bass, producing music as a dynamic duo.

Each member of Canis X Sirius brings something unique to the table, with Andy and Brad
taking on distinct roles in the creative process.

Their collaborative efforts have already set them on an exciting trajectory, and they are now
ready to unleash their music to the world. Their debut on Dirtbox in 2024 with the highly anticipated Vibe City Liquid project was the catalyst to set things off, as now the duo is set to
launch Last Days of Disco, a three-part series that will feature their distinctive sound and innovative approach to drum and bass.

This release marks the beginning of what is expected to be a long and successful career, with
many more exciting projects to come. The duo has already caught the attention of major industry
figures, with an upcoming interview scheduled with UKF in June 2024.

With their passion, talent, and undeniable chemistry, Canis X Sirius are primed to take the drum and bass world by storm. Stay tuned for what’s to come from this exciting new act.

Off The Track Mixes: Tianna Franxx

The UK drum and bass scene is about to experience a fresh wave of innovation with the launch of Vibe City, a brand-new record label dedicated to showcasing the best in liqu id drum and bass. The label’s highly anticipated first release drops in April, setting the stage for a new chapter in the genre’s evolution. 

Founded by industry veterans and passionate advocates of all DnB, Vibe City is the brainchild of Lee UHF and Karl Sonication. The duo created the label as a homage to their deep-rooted love for liquid drum and bass and all aspects of its rich sound.

Vibe City originally began as a compilation series under the multi-genre drum and bass label
Dirtbox Recordings. Due to its massive success over three albums, the decision was made
to evolve it into its own dedicated label, allowing for a sole focus on the incredible sounds
that liquid drum and bass has to offer.

With an already impressive roster of talented artists, Vibe City has its eyes set to become a powerhouse within the ever growing popular sub-genre. The first release is just the beginning of
what is hoped will be an inspiring journey for both artists and fans where the artists are put first and at the forefront. 

With a collection of releases already in the pipeline the summer of 2025 is looking to be a whole new vibe.

1/ “Just Breathe & Beskar feat. Charlie Wren- Hold Me Close”

This track marks the collaboration of two uniquely talented artists, brought together by the label after working individually with both on previous releases. The result? A beautifully crafted piece that pushes creative boundaries while delivering a euphoric experience fit for any festival.

At the heart of "Hold Me Close" is the enchanting vocal performance of Charlie Wren, who
might be known to some as the lead vocalist of alternative metal band ADHARMA.

Her delicate yet powerful delivery instantly takes your attention, setting the emotional tone
for the track. The uplifting, summery vibe takes hold from the very start, blending crisp percussion, melodies, and deep, rolling basslines to create a euphoric experience.

The synergy between Just Breathe and Beskar is evident throughout, with each artist leaving their own distinct imprint on the production. Ethereal guitar riffs and floating atmospheres weave are heard throughout the main section, adding a dreamy, organic touch to the classic liquid  sound. Wren’s heartfelt “Hold Me Close” lyrics echoes through the track, wrapping you in from start to end.

This is one for the summer playlists, the late-night drives, and the deep, introspective moments.

Welcome, to PRESTIGE SOUNDS

Started off in the rave scene when I was 13, I wrote lyrics for a couple of years and then owned a set of 1200mk2's by the age of 15, I was that determined to get decks I was buying vinyl before i had even bought the decks. By the age of 16/17 me and a friend started taking the decks down the woods with a sound system, we ended up building our own sound system to put parties on, we did this for many years as well as run a night in different clubs, bars. I ended up playing drum and bass locally until the age of 24 when I got into hardhouse. I managed to play round england and me and a friend with the help of others, held a hardhouse night called Nokturnal together which was always succesful. With a group of me and 5 other people, we managed to put on a weekend festival on https://youtu.be/f3jDopynv4Q?feature=shared back in 2013. Sadly, shortly after the festival the group split so I carried on playing out and got involved as a resident for Beat Therapy as well as helped with putting outdoor parties on. Then as soon as the scamdemic hit, I got into artwork and went quiet with the music side of life...crazy I know!!
But after the last 2 long years i'm back with a bang!
