I'm here. I'm safe. I'm MKULT and all charges were dropped.

Another year of no shows. I need to perform. In Europe. In Brazil. I finally am able to travel. My children are safe. 

Now, I'm trying to get back home to Washington and I received an email from the police that stated:

The story unfolds. Bold. Real. This is a Transmission.

This track is the start of my next release, captures the sounds from the infamous vinyl release by the Gyoto Monks. Sifting thru the ruins of my life as I piece things back together, following the aftermath of repeated police brutality, wrongful incarceration, identity theft.

Folks, I'm alive and kicking. This ain't no ploy for attention. I am ready to travel.

"You pay for travel, I come to party." A sentiment once relayed by my now officially ex husband now means its time people to focus. Hard. My personal safety is my top priority. 72 days they took from me. Wrongful conviction. Dudley played a huge part in all of this. He threw me in jail four times in a month. He is no longer part of my musical repertoire.

MKULT is Shelly Truman, a West Coast–based producer and performer from Port Townsend, Washington and Tonopah, Nevada. An architect of atmosphere and emotion, Truman merges analog and digital worlds through trance-induced production, shaping sound as a state of being.
Her compositions move through techno, electro, drum and bass, ambient, dark wave, synth-pop, and cinematic downtempo, blending glitch, artifact, atmosphere.
