En 2022 su carrera artística empieza a coger relevancia por Barcelona gracias a su incorporación en V3RTIGO, una nueva agencia de DJ’s a cargo de Joanna Coronado y Lito, actuando en salas como City Hall Barcelona, donde allí ha pinchado en las fiestas TIME y LOOM NIGHTS, en M7 Club, Arde Barcelona, Razzmatazz, en la sala Lolita, y Vade Música, en Sabadell.

También tuvo la oportunidad de probar la experiencia internacional, exactamente en Dakhla, Marruecos, en el resort Zenith Dakhla Kite Resort, donde estuvo alegrando la estancia de los huéspedes durante todo el verano de 2019.

A parte del mundo de la música, Markus Rives está especializado en audiovisuales, lo que conlleva a tener el mimo y cuidado a todo el apartado audiovisual de la marca, como pueden ser sus sets grabados y sus redes sociales. Tal es así que, en 2021, entró en la formación Campus DJ Pro para aprender aspectos que influyen en el día a día de un artista, donde se formó en aspectos de comunicación, marketing, redes sociales, management y otros ámbitos impulsados por Sergei Rez, DJ y youtuber de música electrónica más importante de habla-hispana, Ibai Cereijo, director de Woo Media, y Óscar Hernández, fundador de Surtribe Music Agency.

También está en formación sobre la mente humana, un aspecto muy importante en los DJ’s para saber llevar su día a día, con la formación de ‘Mentalidad de éxito para DJ’s’, impartida por la mentora y manager Joanna Coronado.

Markus Rives ha participado en varios concursos de DJ’s antes de dar el salto a su carrera artística, destacando Addicting All Star DJ, organizado por el sello de Marsal Ventura Addicting Records, donde hubo una participación de más de 50 deejays y que consiguió entrar en el top 10 de los primeros clasificados.

Markus Rives está dispuesto a demostrar su energía por la música House desde la cabina, siendo sus géneros más cómodos el Tech House combinado con el Bass House, aunque a veces también puede desviarse para irse a un punto más comercial, pinchando hits clásicos con base Tech House o incluso un Urban Tech House.
