Danheim - Berserkir (PALADJNO BOOTLEG)

A track I wrote in 2017 which I subsequently forgot about and had lying on my pc for years until I found it again by accident.

On this track I worked with my good friend Magnus Andersen of Marekvist and Rockebandet Sorgen (amongst other projects).
Magnus is an amazing force when it comes to soundscaping, and I feel that his skills really added so many layers of depth to the track.

This is also in a way meant to be a pitch for film-music, as we both have a wish to do film-soundtracks in the future.

When the sky turns red and the gods awaken, the warriors of the North rise once more.

This is an epic Viking war chant forged in fire and storm — blending Old Norse lyrics, deep throat singing, and ancient war drums. A dark hymn to Valhalla, echoing through the blood twilight of battle.

(Rise men from the northern land, fire in heart, blood in the sand.)

Inspired by the sounds of Wardruna, Heilung, and Danheim, this track invokes the primal energy of the berserker and the wisdom of the skald.
