This version continues to narrate the heartfelt story of a man battling his inner demons while striving for a brighter future. In the first verse, we encounter a lonesome soul doing everything in his power to overcome his struggles. The chorus, with its recurring motif of a "glimmer of hope," acts as a beacon of light.
