Paco Osuna's record label, Mindshake drops a percussive tech house release by David Lowe featuring Jenny C, which has sassy vocals and rolling basslines.

David Lowe is back on Mindshake after his label debut in 2024. It's another upbeat EP featuring three tracks, two of which are solo productions, and the third is a collaboration with Jenny C.

Jenny C is also a UK artist from London, and she collaborates with David Lowe on "Rock That." This is her second time working with Mindshake after previously featuring on an EP with Riaz Dhanani. She regularly plays international DJ sets, and translates her knowledge of how to ignite a dance floor into the music she has released via labels such as Andidos, Agape and Techaway.

"Rock That" is the collaboration with Jenny C, and it combines an acid-tinged bassline with hedonistic vocals.

"No!" closes the release with combative vocals that give this track an in-your-face vibe, which is fuelled by female empowerment.

We’re excited to premiere the lead track from David Lowe’s latest release on Issues. The London-based DJ and producer has been steadily carving out a reputation in the UK underground with his trademark blend of heavy-hitting drums and dark, infectious basslines. His music has already landed on labels like Mindshake, No Bad Fridays, Roush, Muse, DPE, and Techords. Now he returns to Issues with a cut designed for the floor.

'Shake' is as direct as it comes. Punchy percussion drives the rhythm while a relentless bassline keeps the tension high. It’s a track made for peak-time sessions, stripped back yet full of character, with the kind of energy that cuts through any system.

The release also features 'Max Effort', another dark and functional roller that leans on crisp drum programming and an unrelenting groove. Both tracks show Lowe’s focus on no-nonsense minimal tech with maximum dancefloor impact.

Having first appeared on Issues in 2023 with 'Like This', Lowe is back with a sound that feels sharper and more assured. With early support from selectors already building, this release looks set to underline his rise as one of the UK’s most promising underground names.

Djino was born in 1977 in Paris.

As a son of musician parents, he perpetuates his passion for music by becoming a DJ in 1999 with his DJ friend Walter Scott.

He builds and nurtures his musical talent by regularly attending Parisian music stores like the Club News and Techno Import.

This allowed him to meet talented artists like Freddy, Philippe Papin, G -Rom, or Dj RvB, Dj Wäde.  They gave him the opportunity to express himself behind the turntables in avant-garde Parisian bars like Purple’s or Mixer Bar.

Multifaceted, he specializes in electronic music, particularly in House, Deep House and Tech House Music.

His reputation has grown and he now has an extensive, refined and dynamic repertoire with which he delights his fans.

In December 2002, he with other artist friends founded the group "The Sound Session".  The group performed in the trendiest bars and clubs in Paris such as the 4 Elements, the Star, the Five, the Raid Bar and the Folie's Pigalle.

Simultaneously Djino carried on mixing and producing for 5 years with Walter Scott in Le P'tit Pont bar as resident Dj’s.  He then became the resident Dj in other bars such as the Mixer Bar and the Stone Wall bar for a number of years.

His experience was clearly recognized when the Artistic Director of the Folie’s Pigalle offered him a bi-monthly Dj’ing session and the organization of the legendary ‘Friendly’ theme party. 

A few years later, he left the group to become an independent freelance DJ/producer and spent brief periods playing on Web Radio.

Finally in 2012, he proudly released his very own two albums with the label ‘Dash Deep Records’:  ‘Littles Spiirt EP’ and ‘Gravity Love EP’, closely followed by his next two albums; ‘This Times EP’ and ‘Mila Ep’.

Djino’s love of music is clearly represented in all that he does, and his experience really makes him stand out from the crowd.
