Kelvin’s songs lean into life in all its battered glory.

His poetic, image-rich lyrics riff on self-awareness and our commonality in a world distracted. Coupled with music borne of a love for rock ‘n’ roll, roots, reggae and old school R&B, the groove that accompanies the message is deep and wide.

“Raw,” “soulful,” and “beautiful” are the words most often used to describe his sound. Kelvin’s voice is timeless, inspired by such greats as Sam Cooke, Nick Cave, Bob Marley and Johnny Cash. His guitar style blends acoustic fingerpicking, percussive, tribal elements and heavy, vintage fuzz.

Kelvin’s music has taken him to Nashville, where he cut his teeth with some top shelf producers and players. He’s toured through Europe, across the Great White North, and back. As a result, people all over the world have been turned on to his work.

A multi-instrumentalist, Kelvin’s live show incorporates orchestral elements, live drum/vocal loops, dirty guitars, top shelf tunes and a whole lotta love. Picture Gordon Lightfoot hanging with The Wailers at a Black Sabbath concert. It’s a Folk Sabbath kinda thing.

2023 sees Kelvin writing, recording and supporting his new recorded works both live and on radio.

ArtCore Beats is a solo music project by Kowge, founded with the purpose of experimenting with different styles and technologies in music. Unlike his previous project, Kolidro Beats, which primarily focused on creating beats for rap, ArtCore Beats is centered around creating more diverse and eclectic tracks. The project combines traditional production methods with modern technologies, including the use of neural networks.

In ArtCore Beats, Kowge actively works on producing not only rap beats but also rock and chillout compositions, experimenting with various musical genres and sound technologies. The project reflects his dedication to innovation and experimentation, allowing him to create unique and unconventional music that stands apart from standard music formats.
