Known for his skill-driven, turntable-inspired style, his performances are dynamic and immersive. He’s played at standout venues like White Rabbit Berlin, Melkweg Amsterdam, Playhouse Malta, and North American institutions including Coda Toronto, Space Miami, and Avalon LA. With 22 Beatport Top 100 tracks and collaborations alongside names like Enrico Sangiuliano, Black Asteroid, and Spektre, Barbuto remains a respected figure in the underground. Kocho is a Sydney-based house producer and selector with some serious talent and a catalogue to match. Rooted in disco, R&B and classic 90’s house, his productions carry a signature warm bassline, chopped vocals and an infectious groove — tasteful selections delivered with a calibre of production that has kept heads turning for years.

Kocho is family at We Out Here, now four releases deep on the imprint (Never Knew, Run, Shake It Down and The Transitions). Beyond WOH his records span minimal/deep-tech label Conspiracy Music and a huge catalogue of disco/house on SHE Recordings (with UK producer Richard Earnshaw on remix duties), Farplane Records (Rasmus Faber / Defected), Epod and Souluxe Record Co. A resident selector for Sydney institution S.A.S.H, he’s well respected across the city for his live vinyl sets.

The momentum keeps building: his We Out Here cut ‘Shake It Down’ sits at #1 on the label’s Beatport top tracks and found its way into Jamie Jones’ set at Paradise in Miami, while his MJ ‘Thriller’ edit with DJibouti exploded at EDC Mexico — the pair following it up with the official ‘Mr. Lover’ Afterhours Dub in June 2026.
