Intense emotions:
People with Venus in a position linked to BPD may experience very strong feelings of love and attraction, but also intense jealousy, possessiveness, and anger in relationships, often swinging rapidly between extremes.

Fear of abandonment:
They might have a deep-seated fear of being left alone, leading to clingy behaviors or desperate attempts to maintain relationships, even if it means compromising their own needs. 

Impulsive behavior:
The Venus-BPD connection can lead to impulsive actions in relationships, such as quickly committing to a partner or engaging in risky behaviors to seek validation.

What is an Imago?
The term "imago" comes from the Latin word for "image". In Imago Relationship Therapy, it's understood as an unconscious, idealized concept of love that an individual develops during childhood, often based on their experiences with their parents or other significant caregivers. 

Development of the Imago:
These early interactions shape a child's understanding of what love and relationships are like, and they develop specific behaviors or "survival patterns" to obtain love and feel safe. 

Imago and Relationships:
As adults, individuals unconsciously seek out partners who embody their imago, hoping to recreate the experiences and dynamics of their childhood relationships.
