Skin & Wisdom is the followup to Mood Exhibit's world percussion album Vibrations Empowered Within.

- Every traditional culture throughout time has had its drum. Drums have been used for communication with mortals and immortals. Drums have been used to celebrate mortals and immortals. Across the globe, drumming has been part of the history of people both grounding themselves and transcending this world. With this shared history in mind, it becomes easier to imagine the possibilities of uniting cultures through drumming. Often, we think of differences when we consider various cultures, but drumming speaks to what joins us.

- Animal hides, such as those from a goat, sheep, or calf, were stretched over a frame or shell to create the earliest drum skins. These organic materials offered the endurance and resonance required for sound production. Drums were employed for signalling, communication, and religious rites in many ancient societies.

A tak jednoho dne na mě něco vyskočilo na FB. a já si řekl, že tento obraz se mi moc líbí… Je takový temný a mám rád úplňky i když se při nich hůře spí… V noci nebývá nikdy taková tma jako když měsíc nesvítí…
Jsme vlčí děti… Vyjeme na temný měsíc 🌒… Létáme ve svojí mysli v galaxii… Ve své vlastní temnotě… Svítí nám vždy někdo na cestu…
Stále jsem však neměl nějaké představy o tracku až do chvíle kdy jsem objevil film na motivy Stephena Kinga… Mlha…
Mlhu mám taky rád… Hlavně hustou, kdy to připomíná atmosféru jako ze hry Silent Hill… Použil jsem hlášku… Čtyři kulky… Ale je nás tu pět… A ve finále hraje žalozpěv… Od Dead can dance-Host of the seraphim… A dojde k rozuzlení zápletky… A skončí to jako velký dojeb… No musím říct, že se mi moc líbil a ze začátku jsem tomu moc nedával jak jsem viděl ty počítačové chapadla… 😅 Ale vše se tak rozjelo do psychologie uvězněných lidí v obchodě… No dobrý film za mě…

A při mojí grafické úpravě do digitální podoby se zjevila tvář zlé postavy z Texaského masakru motorovou pilou (1974) nebo její podobizna… Leather face alias kožená tvář… A tak jsem vzpomněl na DR.Salvatora ze hry Resident evil 4 (2005)… Jak tam řval jak pako… V tracku taky řve ten stejný psychopat, který tě honí po lese s motorovkou…
A co by to bylo za měsíc kdyby na něj nevyli vlci… Někde v lese… Ve tmě… Na skále… Osamocení hladoví vlci samotáři… Kteří tě chcou roztrhat na kusy? Anebo se chcou pomazlit ? 😈…
Celkově jsem to všechno smíchal do kupy… Track jsem započal 23.12.2024 a trval mi 4 měsíce… Byl to takový delší projekt s finální verzí č.77 a ne ještě to není ono… 78,79,80… Panebože to snad nemá konce… Pak jsem se na to vykašlal a vrátil se k verzi 55 a tu dotáhl do konce… Velký trápení… 😧
Celkové pojetí tracku je bráno jako velmi agresivní… Temné, vesmírné… Melancholické s pocity zoufalství kdy utíkáme před vlky a psychopaty v lese… Doprovázeno zpěvem pěvkyně stojící na jedoucím tanku s tekoucí krví z očí…
Toto je recept na správný mental… Podpořen nějakou kyselinou co tě žere za živa… Jed co koluje ti v žilách…

No pořádné psycho… Doufám, že se bude líbit.

Hello and welcome! I'm an independent composer, musician, music teacher and producer from Düsseldorf/Germany. I played guitar and/or keyboards in various (rock/prog/indie/fusion/whatever) bands for years. Now I spend most of my time hanging out in the studio, creating tracks for video and TV content. Trying to be versatile, mixing and matching all kinds of genres I like. And I still don't use gen AI for my music.

It was quite a long way to get to this place. But now I'm here. Just listen.

Music and art can very much touch us with the essence of symmetry, balance, fluidity, cohesion whilst their counterparts: dis-juncture, chaos, inertia, provide the tension that makes for the through-line: Story.

No wonder then that Xavier Morel, a veteran and simply awesome producer and Dj speaks in such terms. In these days where the distinction between artist and playlist are becoming less distinct, the essence of audio art is becoming distilled in its import.

Starting his DJ career off in 1988 Xavier has Dj'd throughout Europe, Australia and Asia, most particularly Japan where he was based for years.

On the production front has worked and collaborated with Juno Reactor, Prime Suspect, Section X, Eat Static, Fuel, Carcharodon Megalodon, VX & H229 (on Machine Label),Marcus Maichel,Shane Berry,Oz Morsley ,and project comming with greg hunter,Marcus Maichel. Presently very active on the new project with pat lazer (aka section x)  REPLICANTS 2049.

Goajira Records
An experimental electronic music producer exploring the outer edges of psychedelic soundscapes, blending tempos from 150 to 160 BPM and beyond. With a focus on high-energy rhythms, hypnotic textures, and mind-altering effects, my music pushes boundaries between psytrance, darkpsy, and hitech psy.

He is, without a doubt, one of the djs who most contributed to the evolution of the dance scene in Portugal.
Beside him, were names like Underworld, Danny Tenaglia, Roger Sanchez, Dj Vibe, Deep Dish, François K, Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, Dave Clark, Groove Armada, among many others.
But more than the names, was and it is his work that stands out before everyone.
Beginning his career in the 1980s with residency at the Plateau (Official) and progression to the mythical "Alcântara Mar", he ended up, give life to the first album to be recorded by a club in Portugal: “The House of Rhythm”.

It was with this record that he achieved what was never achieved before, the first gold record in national electronic music.
In addition, there are numerous milestones associated with different projects, such as Delicado, Crystal Symphony, LL Project and DarkMountainGroup, a co-project with Alex Santos and whose first single, “Lose Control”, reached the number 1 from British DJ Magazine.
When in the mid-90s the first volume of the series of mixed compilations of the mythical Alcântara-Mar club was launched, Luís Leite was already a strong name in our club scene and a pioneer of dance music in Portugal. With a great impact of the compilation and his entry in the first place of the sales tops, Luís becomes part of one, at the time still small, group of DJs coming from the underground who managed to enter the Portuguese mainstream without compromising his music. It was 1996 and the pirate cassettes of the "Alcântara" CDs changed hands in schools and on the streets in large numbers, as if they belonged to Nirvana or Guns & Roses. Teenagers pissed off their parents to wear rings, shave their hair and blow their allowance up in Jimmy Doyle boots like ravers did.
With a mix of American hard house, b-sides of European trance, some English techno and new national production, Luís Leite built the monster that would become the sound of "Alcântara-Mar": naked, fast, oscillating between clubby exuberance and industrial austerity - with an undeniable crossover potential. Also with his production he created some of the greatest classics in our dance music; everyone who grew up in the 90's recognizes "Khine #3" when they hear it, and "Work In Progress" is not only one of the best moments at Kaos Records but it still retains an elegance that makes it modern. In collaboration with Alex S (Urban Dreams) he gave us the Delicado project in the early 2000s, where he exchanged electronic hardness for jazzy influences. Later,  also with Alex, he created one of the biggest international hits of the house of his time with the project Darkmountaingroup, released under the label Buzzin 'Fly by Ben Watt (Everything But The Girl). His dedication and genius ear are only comparable to his humility and work of spirit, typical of a time when DJs were just employees.
From then on, invitations to record mixed cds hadn’t stopped.
