I made this album asking myself, "What would I do if I had my very own Death Note? What would I do if I were Kira?" Well this is the answer to that. Remember this is a work of art, I do not actually promote murder nor the false justice the Death Note holder uses in this project. 

Story:
Based off the series and manga of the same name, and also based off of my original song "Death Note" (Which I have remastered in this album) The story is about a teenage boy who found a mysterious book called the Death Note, eventually writing his ex's name in the Death Note just for fun, the boy soon realizes the effect of the Death Note is very real.

 (Writing a person's name in the Death Note results in them having a heart attack when no specific cause of death is specified) 

Soon enough the boy comes face to face with a shinigami named "Ryuk" who tells the boy the ins and outs of the Death Note. Soon, the boy uses the Death Note to pursue his warped justice, deeming those he sees unworthy of living to die. As time passes the world becomes aware that there is someone out there passing judgement on them, as thousands of criminals die from the same reason, a heart attack, every week. Eventually naming him, "Kira" which means "Killer" in Japanese. 

Years pass by and Kira begins to spiral further down into insanity, losing his mind, making his warped sense of justice even worse, now he doesn't just kill criminals, but the immoral too. Eventually Kira gets tired of life, and begins to realize that Kira's secret identity is gaining all the fame, but not him himself for who he is.  To him being feared as a name wasn't enough, he wanted to be infamous as a person too. 

So, Kira goes on one last spree, writing the names down of everybody who could possibly try and take him down before he goes out to public to announce that he is Kira. He buries the Death Note somewhere, in hopes that one day someone else will find it, and continue his legacy as Kira. Kira goes out into the city and announces who he is, and proves it by predicting the deaths of people who die when he says they will. The cops try and arrest him, but they all die before they can reach him. 

The reality is that after doing such a thing, he cannot return to a normal life, nor could he of written the names down of every person who could take him down, and not wanting to be stuck in prison for the rest of his life, it is revealed that he wrote his own name down in the Death Note. He will die soon, giving the police no reason to arrest him. As he announces to the world, and becomes infamous for his crimes, he dies by a heart attack, waking up in neither hell nor heaven, but rather in nothingness.
