"Lease Forms and Love Notes" traces a relationship backwards from final move-out to first apartment viewing. Through specific details like security deposit photos and first-time lease signatures, it explores how bureaucratic papers bookmark our emotional chapters. The production supports the reverse journey, following the path from empty rooms back to hopeful beginnings. Each scene reveals another layer of their story, while everyday details become powerful symbols of both temporary and permanent marks we leave on each other's lives. The reverse chronology transforms practical paperwork into emotional artifacts, speaking to anyone who's ever signed their name to both beginnings and endings.

This is the song of a Grandmother reflecting back to when she was young, as she looks at her grown child now, and remembering back to when she had to make the choice that would determine her future, as well as the baby. I made it up, but it was based on stories I had heard in my life on what people's concerns or desires were, so I wrote a song, attempting to see in the heart and mind of a woman who could be my friend, wanting to tell her story of this very critical moment and decision in her life. I hope you like it!

Choose Your Door is the sonic equivalent of staring at a fork in the road while a storm brews overhead. It’s all alt blues rock, with a side of existential dread—wrapped up in searing guitar riffs, brooding basslines, and drumbeats that feel like the clock ticking down on your next big decision.

And the vocals? Oh, mate, they’re a masterclass in "crafted chaos." Raspy, raw, and somehow achingly human, despite being meticulously created rather than sung. It’s like someone bottled the essence of vulnerability and defiance, shook it up, and poured it over a bed of moody instrumentation. You’d swear the voice itself has lived a thousand lives—and taken none of them lightly.

The track knows how to mess with your head, too. It starts stripped-back and introspective, the calm before the storm. Then, bam—the chorus hits like a train, unapologetically loud and full of fire. There’s even a haunting organ lurking in the mix, giving the whole thing a bluesy soul while the modern rock edges keep it rebellious and raw.

If gritty, soul-baring alt blues rock is your jam, Choose Your Door is a proper punch to the gut—in the best way. It’s part battle cry, part quiet contemplation, and 100% the soundtrack for anyone who’s ever stood at a crossroads and thought, “Well... now what?”

Music is not just an art form for me—it's a lifeline, a form of therapy that sees me through the highs and lows of life. Each track I create is a piece of my soul, translated into sound. It's in the depths of melodies and rhythms that I find solace, pouring my emotions and experiences into each note as a way to heal and understand myself better. My music is a diary of my journey, a reflection of the inner workings of my mind and heart. When you notice an influx of new tracks, it's a signal that I'm navigating through tougher times, seeking refuge and expression through my music. This direct channel from my innermost thoughts to your ears is what makes my music raw, real, and resonant. So, as you listen, know that you're not just experiencing a song, but a chapter of my life, a moment of catharsis, and a piece of my path to healing. My hope is that it may offer you the same comfort and escape it provides me.

Gene Alestock The Second (Tony) is a bassist and trumpeter based out of Baltimore, (Maryland) that specializes in instrumental music spanning multiple genres. Since the age of 13, Gene has been studying both classical and contemporary on trumpet and bass guitar/upright bass, performing with all-star jazz bands, all-state jazz ensembles, honors orchestras, the PG Philharmonic, as well as performing at The Kennedy Center, MetLife, and The Lake Arbor jazz festival just to name a few places. He attributes his main musical education to his alma mater, Morgan State University, as well as his hometown high school, Northwestern High School of Adelphi, MD. Gene continues to this day to play with various acts, including L.A Young and The Unusual Suspects, The Sounds, and TooMuchTalentBand, as well as giving lessons to the community as a way of giving his talent back. 

Currently Tony is a full time bassist and trumpeter that creates all genres of music. Electronic music such as R&B. EDM/Trap, Hip Hop, Alternative, and Indie styles are some of my strongest suits but I also have composed orchestral arrangements in the past. Through my studies at Morgan State University as well as my performing and producing, I've be in a part of several jazz, classical, R&B, and theatrical productions. Through producing I've found that although I enjoy making R&B. EDM/Trap, Hip Hop, Alternative, and Indie, I find myself to fusing styles together to create a fresh and new sound while still staying true to the song/project at hand.
