Most people still believe that it's only possible to see Northern Lights in the northern regions like Norway, Finland or Iceland for example. 
But the Truth is the sun is going through cycles, just like your life does too. 
This and the next year are expected as the solar maximum which leads to sun storms, which are that potent and strong that our earth magnetic shield produces northern lights upon arrival, which were that big they reached even to Germany the second time this year. 

I was standing on my balcony, watching north ways past Thursday. I couldn't believe what I saw.  The sky was red, with my bare eyes visible. I had massive goosebumps. 
My Girlfriend and I took the car immediately and chased the lights. The result you can hear, feel and see on my massive cover photo, together with the mix I have prepared for you this week. 

Seeing this spectacular play of nature in real life just at home changed me as an artist. DPS 171 reached the next level. It's the best and most refined set I've ever made. Every Sound, Tune, Transition is how it was fully intended. The passion you'll hear as a result. 
A massive combination of various styles, Deep & Progressive music is all about + with an extra portion of heart and soul in the beginning. 

Today in the end a bit more punchy with Melodic Techno and Trance beats paired to House, BPM also climbing up to a whopping 127 BPM.

It is a great pleasure to welcome back Italian trance and progressive producer Danilo Marinucci to our imprint. Marinucci channels deep progressive emissions in this riveting dreamstate themed Sogni di Gloria.

Marinucci’s original "Dreams of Glory" thrusts listeners into a dreamlike state of the progressively deep subconscious mind. Sidechained bass lines and hypnotic guitar plucks, and spacey melodies will keep listeners in a dreamy stasis through the duration of the track. Atmospherika's Sunset Hour Mix reimagines the dreamlike setting on a beach along the balearic coast. Albert Klein's remix is club-oriented with progressive vibes and trancey elements. Mind Echoes is a brazilian music producer and DJ with a unique personality on his tracks, mixing huge atmospheres with hypnotic melodies and agressive synths while keeping a strong and energetic groove. He is heavily influenced by Pink Floyd and Depeche Mode, his all-time favorite bands that inspire a lot of his sound design, but also has Progressive House as his favorite EDM Genre, taking influences from artists like Guy J, GMJ and Cid Inc. . BRCast #118 - Mind Echoes

So, another year has passed and it's time to look back on last year's music!

The Deep and Progressive sides of the House and Trance scenes have continued to flourish in the past year and despite my relatively narrow scope compared to the Uplifting Trance scene, there were plenty of tracks that I enjoyed. This is even the first year where the Deep & Progressive mix is the longest of the three!

Colorize has definitely been my favourite label included in this mix. However, the experimental sounds of the new Anjunadeep Explorations label also suit me very well, and the ever increasing expansion of the Deep Trance scene spearheaded by Forescape Digital and JOOF also provided some great innovative journeyful work.

My favourite tunes in this mix are probably "Jack Willard - Vista", "Romain Garcia - Sevilla", and "SØNIN & BLR feat. Brieanna Grace - Rush (2AM Club Mix)" in decreasing order. Leon Bolier has had a particularly stellar year under his BLR alias, and many others did great as well.

After being a very long time for many years ill and unable to do anything. 
I'm back, my energy is back.
Time to celebrate a pain-free future with a Electronic Dance music set which combines every hot genre of 2025 into one fluent mix.

That's great but it comes with a cost.

Hello & Welcome, DPS is my weekly DJ Podcast where I tell stories with Electronic Dance Music.

it was time for me to focus on Progressive, properly and exclusively.

Please don't expect any Afro or Soul beats today - There are none.

It's all about raw, deep energy that builds over time, creating a constant feeling of tension.

Earth Scientist/ Geotechnical Engineer, homebrewer of the finest meads, certified nerd, tea enjoyer, and most of all... music lover! I've been into Trance since 2013 and I started producing in 2015. Since then I released many tracks on labels like VERSE, Premier Leaugue, High Emotions, Technomind and Inspectrum to name just a few. I am known for having created my own unique and creative, complex, symphonic and dreamy Trance sound focused on integrating modern possibilities with old-school authenticity. The last few years I've been expanding my interests more towards Deep/ Prog house, Hardstyle, Rawstyle, Hardcore and Ambient among others.
