RIST's music is created while traveling, by the sea, during a lunch break in the home office or somewhere under an old tree in a summer garden. His songs breath a mix of poetic passion and melancholy and are light as air with an unpredictably sense of rhythm and melody. The lyrics are about about relationships, change, travel, love, freedom and growing.

Music is inspiration and a cultural fundament. For over three decades, RIST writes his songs, instrumental pieces and lyrics.
