Then speed garage came along and progressed into UK Garage where I played on various pirate radio stations. Over the years, my style has evolved, and I now specialize in spinning house, tech house, and deep house, bringing energy and rhythm to every set. My journey in music has also led me into the world of production, where I'm creating tracks that blend my decades of experience with fresh, innovative sounds. Whether behind the decks or in the studio, my passion for music continues to drive me, connecting people through the power of sound.

Max Maxwell has been quietly making noise in the New Zealand music scene since everything smelled like Teen Spirit.  

Running the aural gamut from downbeat to progressive, Max borrows dancefloor elements, dubs them out with chunky bass lines, and adds a sprinkle of melodic electronica tempered with sonorous vocals to create a rich patina of soundscapes which is at once dynamic and uplifting; reflective and deep.
