Short BIO:
A diverse spectrum of rhythms linked by groove has secured Krk musician Ana Antonova an indestructible status on the regional scene over the past 15 years. She fearlessly commands the underground clubs as well as the big stages in equal measure, which has been recognised by numerous publishers so far: Get Physical, Dubøka Records, Not Allowed, THANQ, Dobar House & Conceptual Records.

Antonova’s DJing was and still is special and reliable, that’s why she had numerous gigs across the country and further, from Exit, Sea Star, Velvet Festival, Thru the Bushes, Illectricity Festival and other well known regional festivals to various gigs in clubs, and regarding international gigs she had the chance to perform in Czech Republic, Slovenia and Serbia.

She is awarded as Croatian “DJ Of The Year 2022” - Elector Award.

She is also a label manager of “THANQ Music” label, and professional associate of “Thru The Bushes” festival – “Ambasador” awarded “Best Event of the 2020.”

KOICHI SATO [DJ / Producer / Radio DJ]

KOICHI SATO was born in Osaka, Japan and began expressing his love of music during his high school days by collecting and playing his favourite record. 
At just 17 he started his own rock event that grew from a small club with only 20 guests to become a trendsetter in the Osaka 
rock scene by not only hosting members of bands like Tahiti 80 and Passion Pit as guest DJs, 
but also hosting the official Japan Tour parties for bands such as Radiohead, Coldplay, Muse and more. 

Koichi began focusing on dance music began shortly after graduating high school. Spinning mostly Tech House, House and Techno tracks, he held several residencies at clubs in both Osaka and Tokyo. 
He also opened for international acts like Pendulum, Basement Jaxx, Sven Väth, Daddy G (Massive Attack), UNKLE, Darren Emerson, Feeder and many others. 
Not content with just working the club scene, Koichi expanded into performances at the famous Fuji Rock Festival, at fashion shows for some of the world's top brands and even hosting a regular show on one of Japan's most popular radio stations, FM802. 

-Koichi has since gone from strength to strength and here are just a few of his achievements-
2010・Begins his own record label, Sugar Recordings, from which he releases original music, creates songs for use in major companies' commercials, presents compositions to major Asian artists, and produces background music and sound effects for use on the radio.
2015・Partners with Mika Kitten to produce music and so far they have released remixes and original tracks on labels from around the world including Italy, Spain, Russia, Germany, Dubai and America.
2016・Wins a Ken Ishii Remix competition sponsored by Spanish imprint Different is Different Recordings.
2017・Relocates to Dubai 
        ・Xuclar EP / Reload Records, Berlin. Climbed to 62 on the Beatport Techno Top 100. 
2018・Breaks 1 million plays on SoundCloud with his release on California’s Digital Records, Sunset Drive. 
        ・In the summer goes on to host DAYDREAM, a villa party in Ibiza, Spain. 
2019・Collaborates with Dubai techno imprint Evolvement Recordings on their compilation ANALOGUE Volume 1 and plans to take part in label release parties and tours. 
        ・Noor / Pachira EP / YOMO Records, Berlin. Continues to climb the Beatport charts, reaching 29 in Melodic House & Techno and 44 in Techno Top 100. 
2020・Breaks 2 million plays on SoundCloud with his release on California’s Digital Records, “Sunset Drive”. 
        ・Breaks 1 million plays on SoundCloud with his release on California’s Digital Records, “Mojave”. 
        ・ “Shani EP” was picked for Mixmag Asia and Rated 8/10. 
2021・He started an online DJ Show on Club House and Twitch and created a popular show that attracts one of the top audiences in the Club House music genre.
2024・Starts a new regular party “波’-NAMI-“ featuring Japanese culture at CONRAD DUBAI Secret Garden by VII with Mika Kitten. The party is held every Monday and attracts more and more people each time, making it a big hit on Dubai's night club scene.
        ・Breaks 4 million plays on SoundCloud with his release on California’s Digital Records, “Sunset Drive”.

His intense grooves reminiscent of Latin music and uniquely unrestrained set constructions are characteristic of Koichi’s DJ style which has grown organically from a wide-ranging musical sense informed by his eclectic record collection comprising over 10,000 selections.

"Algorithm" (noun): a process or set of rules to be followed in calculations or other problem-solving operations, especially by a computer.

"Rhythm" (noun): a strong, regular repeated pattern of movement or sound.

"Algorithmic" (adjective): expressed as or using an algorithm or computational procedure.

For me, creating a mix is like implementing a series of algorithms. Every transition I do between tracks is an implementation of an algorithm. After all, a transition between two tracks is really a set of steps that you take in solving the problem of moving from one song to another, and you can define an algorithm through describing these steps. You can therefore say that my mixes are, in a sense, algorithmic - or rather "algorhythmic" - in nature.

Every time that I implement one of my "algorhythms" in order to mix two tracks, I make sure that I implement it as accurately and optimally as possible, and I make sure that my "algorhythm" that I have chosen is the best one for the given context. As a DJ, I strive for the delivery of high-quality mixes, both in terms of song selection, as well as technical ability and execution. I strive to be like a computer in this sense - accurate, consistent, and efficient. However, the difference between me and a computer is that a computer executes programs without any emotion or attachment to the program or its process, whereas I truly love what I do whenever I am mixing and implementing my "algorhythms". I strive for perfection, but never at the cost of doing what I love.
