“In Circles” was written during a period where everything felt stuck — same thoughts, same stress, same patterns.
But underneath all the noise and the bullshit, there's always a drive pushing one's self forward. 
I tried capturing that tension: anxiety twisting around itself, frustration building layer by layer, and a bassline that keeps pulling the listener ahead; emulating the loathed feeling of mental exhaustion we all encounter while relentlessly pursuing the pursuit of happiness. 

I attempted to capture this feeling in the cover art as well— endless repeating mountains fading into the distance, like the same cycle over and over… but with depth, space, and momentum.
I took this photo of the Olympic mountains in Washington state at the end of July this past year (2025) and honestly, it's one of my favorite photographs of nature that I've taken.
