this heady mix is a journey through sounds and genres that tunes into the frequency of this very special secluded space, which we will soon visit for a mysterious gathering of souls…

“when resonance invited me to record a live dj set, outdoors, in a private secluded off-grid location this spring, I obviously jumped at the chance! I knew if Resonance were involved, there would definitely be some magic afoot! And I was not wrong. Surrounded by streams, trees, birds, flowers in bloom and blue skies and sunshine, this was little slice of utopian paradise!

Antero Teknomättö reinvents the iconic "Caater" sound in this high-energy 150 BPM track, pushing it into darker, more chaotic territory. Featuring a deliberately horrifying synth lead, the track channels the early 2000s Eurodance aesthetic once popularized by Caater—who themselves drew influence from Darude’s legendary sound.

The twist? The chorus is a tongue-in-cheek callback to one of Antero's own old techno-schlager tracks, Amen. Fueled by nostalgia and an overconsumption of coffee, the result is a hypercharged parody that both embraces and subverts the genre’s signature clichés.

J.L.P asked Antero Teknomättö to create a remix of his imaginary hit track Epic Success.

This version has a slightly faster tempo, and the mix is undeniably on another level—as if someone actually knew what they were doing this time. Melodically, the track remains almost the same—just a bit more monotonous—and the piano’s role has been promoted from private to sergeant in the final chorus.

This track fits into many genres: trance, eurodance, schlager. One can only pity the target audience.

Arctic Music Project is a Finnish musician who produces melodic synth pop. The frontman is the self-proclaimed celebrity Antero Teknomättö - the long-lost cousin of David Guetta, missing since the 1800s.

Antero produces all his music with hardware synths (DeepMind 6, Minilogue XD ... ) and mixes on a hardware mixer.
