Separate Ways (Ada theme) Bootleg/remix

After the Guardian published an article on July 6, 2024 about the background to the training of AI Foundation models and the censorship of content, the band recorded this track in August 2024. This content moderation is performed in the Global South by a mass of low-wage workers under often sweatshop conditions. The content that these workers are confronted with is sometimes psychologically extremely stressful. They are left alone with it. It is this, the old story of Africa's exploitation, that is being continued here by tech giants.


The Guardian Article is called “Meet Mercy and Anita - the African workers driving the AI revolution, for just over a dollar an hour” and was written by James Muldoon, Mark Graham and Callum Cant.
