El evento, presentado como un concurso de DJs, no cumplió con las expectativas debido a una desorganización evidente desde el inicio. Aunque se anunció como un espacio competitivo, no se establecieron criterios claros ni se tomaron medidas adecuadas para garantizar una evaluación justa.

Se instaló una cabina insonorizada para grabar las sesiones, con la intención de transmitir en Twitch y permitir que el público escuchara mediante auriculares conectados a un software propio de la organización. Sin embargo, desde mi llegada, quedó claro que el evento carecía de coordinación y profesionalismo.

Problemas destacados:
Falta de criterios técnicos y de evaluación:

No se diferenciaron estilos musicales ni se asignaron horarios adecuados según el tipo de música.
No se establecieron especificaciones técnicas, como deshabilitar la función sync para evaluar realmente la habilidad de los DJs en lugar de depender de herramientas automáticas.
Mala planificación de horarios:

Fui asignado a primera hora de la mañana, un horario poco favorable para un evento festivo como el 1 de noviembre.
El público era inexistente, ya que la mayoría estaba ocupada preparando sus negocios en el recinto, un autocine de Madrid enfocado en la venta de hamburguesas.
Problemas técnicos:

Al llegar apenas 10 minutos antes de mi turno, la cabina no tenía electricidad ni estaba lista para operar.
A lo largo de mi sesión, también se presentaron interrupciones de energía.
Falta de transparencia en la evaluación:

Uno de los finalistas supuestamente sería elegido por el público a través del software de auriculares, algo imposible en mi caso por la ausencia de público.
El otro finalista sería elegido por los jueces, pero no hubo ninguno presente observando mi actuación. La evaluación quedó relegada a criterios subjetivos, posiblemente influidos por amistades o favoritismos.
Consecuencias:
Mi sesión se desarrolló sin público, salvo por algunos compañeros que estaban programados para actuar después de mí. Terminé mi turno enfrentando problemas técnicos y, pese a todo, logré grabar mi set en un pendrive que ahora pueden escuchar.

Reflexión final:
Este tipo de eventos, lejos de cumplir su propósito de valorar y promover el talento, acaban siendo más una estrategia para captar participantes que un verdadero concurso. La falta de profesionalismo, la desatención a los detalles técnicos, y el sesgo en la evaluación empañaron una experiencia que podría haber sido enriquecedora.

Espero que en futuros concursos los organizadores:

Establezcan criterios claros para evaluar las habilidades de los DJs.
Organicen los horarios según los estilos y aseguren la presencia de jueces imparciales con conocimiento técnico.
Brinden igualdad de condiciones a todos los participantes, evitando favoritismos y garantizando una experiencia justa y profesional.
A quienes les tocó actuar en horarios favorables, con público y transmisión activa, seguramente tendrán una percepción distinta del evento. Sin embargo, para muchos de nosotros, esta experiencia fue una decepción más en el mundo de los concursos de DJ mal gestionados.
