While playing around with some sounds in Vital (a fun synth plugin) and trying some delays and reverbs I came up with a simple ‘melody’ (if you can call it that). It reminded me of some ‘music’ I have heard in a video about mushrooms. In this video they showed different kinds of mushrooms that were connected to a device with moveable arms that held drumsticks. The drumstick hit some midi-keyboard that was connected to a laptop. The mushrooms seemed to be ‘playing’ music. Anyhow, that’s how I came up with the title. I unleashed the mushroom in me. As always I have used Spitfire Audio. This time it was GAIKA’s ‘War Island’. I have put some delays and reverbs on that one as well and I thought I could end the song with this sound. It has a nondescript unstable tape sound which I like. Almost like Boards of Canada. To get that sound I have used Cymatics Origin and Valhalla SuperMassive (of course).

Quiet suspension, slowly illuminating the sound field with drifting harmonics and soft tonal bloom. Settling into a warm, enveloping continuum where layers of resonance breathe in and out with a calm internal pulse.

Textures thicken, modulation patterns shift, and the space subtly widens, creating a sense of movement without overt rhythmic gesture carrying the listener through waves of luminous ambience, always evolving yet never breaking its meditative flow.

Immersive, cerebral, and fluid, a landscape of sound.

Simple syncopation. Stringy bass section feels like a breath of cold air to me, flowing through a cave system or smthin.

Echoform+ModeM is a new creative chapter and collaboration heavily influenced by the innovation, logic, and precision of early 1990's electronic music and modern day technical mechanix inspired by artists such as Time Modem, Lassigue Bendthaus, Aes Dana, Geomatic, Clock DVA, Implant Code, Sundial Aeon, E-Mantra, Artefakto, Trilithon, The Klinik, X Marks The Pedwalk, Handful of Snowdrops, and labels Music Research GMBH, Abfahrt, Boy, Ausfahrt, and Ultimae, among others. The music is a fusion of cerebral intelligence and trance influences. This is not techno dance floor drudgery.
